Chilly and possibly hot in the summer given it is a sunken playground. May be well-drained but the ground is probably squishy for a while after rain. Mulched and has a sidewalk path in good shape. Large, established trees. Fountain to walk around and amphitheatre next to the playground. Bathrooms in a large building at the top of the hill, street side that was in good condition without graffiti or needles. Plenty of TP and soap etc. Very neat little merry-go-round with a bench for ♿ accessibility and it is set level into the ground, also making it easier for little kids to kick push themselves:) All equipment seemed in great condition. Across the street from a great Hershey's ice cream and sandwich shop...

The grounds themselves are beautiful and well cared for, with plenty of shade, open green space, and a charming atmosphere that fits perfectly with the rest of downtown Belmont. It’s a wonderful spot for events or just a relaxing day outdoors. Can’t wait...
