Firefighters' Field Community Park — Attraction in Bensalem Township

LOVE THIS PARK! I went there for the first time today in the morning 9am and it was pretty much empty. The playground is INCREDIBLY CLEAN! The bathrooms are VERY CLEAN! I was impressed with the outdoor fitness equipment they have as well as their playground flooring which is cushioned. They have a beautiful path for running and their fields are perfectly maintained. If you have young children this is the perfect park to bring them. If you an adults and want to get in a great workout this would be the outdoor park to go to. They have 2 different CLEAN ellipticals, various pull-up bars and MORE! Plenty of benches and tables with seating for relaxing, doing some work or having a little picnic. Overall VERY IMPRESSED!! Also if you have children or teens with unique needs this is the park for them! They can safely and effectively get in a great workout as well. I have brought my kids to firefighters field since they were toddlers. It was always a good place for playing and fun. Unfortunately we had a negative experience there yesterday. It seems that 8 year olds have major limitations. The ranger there spoke to my kids and their friends multiple times within a 5 minute period. It seemed everything they did was disruptive to her. Needless to say, we left and went to another playground where the kids could be kids and actually play, jump, and run. I get safety, but they were not doing anything dangerous. Also I was watching them the whole time. It's very upsetting that we had to leave, it had been a while since they've played there and were so excited to bring...

This is a nice, peaceful, clean, well maintained park. Whether I'm getting in my steps on the paved walking paths or just sitting in my car in the parking lot, it's always a great experience. There's usually plenty of people walking, biking, playing sports on the field, etc. but never so many as to make it feel crowded. Usually lots of kids are having fun on the playground, too.

There are plenty of benches scattered around to sit and rest on, and tables near the playground/bathroom area where you can stop and have a snack. Trash cans are emptied regularly since I've never seen one even close to being full, let alone overflowing like in some other parks. Bathrooms...
