Let me start of by saying I’ve been to other Longhorn steakhouses and never experienced what I experienced tonight as we are all entitled to an off day / night perhaps this was one of those days for our waitress! my kids and I the decided to have a Monday dinner at Longhorn as we arrived, We were greeted very nicely by the hostess and the manager. We were then escorted to our table by the hostess, where we sat and waited very soon after the waitress came and introduced herself not much of a personality there not a big deal we continue to order our drinks as we were ready to order our dinner. I told her we were ready to order She seemed bothered by it . once again, no biggie we continue to order our food and drinks at the same time one of my kids which is 21 years old order an alcoholic beverage. She asked for his Id which is perfectly fine. He made a joke about it. She didn’t even smile or acknowledge the jjoke again not a big deal we continued with our night . We waited over 45 minutes for food not once did the waitress come by our table to see if we were OK with drinks . After perhaps 45 minutes to an hour waiting, I was very bothered by the waitress never asking us if we were OK or if we needed more drinks or perhaps another appetizers while we waited for food. I decided to bring it up to the manager by asking for my check letting him know what was bothering me and asking for container so we can pack our food before it even came out and leave as I was really bothered by her attitude the Manager was very nice and did take care of the situation accordingly I headed over to the table after paying the bill. I packed our food and left. My son left his packed food behind he ran back in exactly two seconds And of course, the waitress had discarded his food at this point I became very bothered however decided to call it a night. as I processed everything that happened this night I decided to write this review! Not for my bill to be paid or for credit but to make that waitress aware of her attitude and that we are all living in this messed up world however, there’s no reason to be so miserable SMILE...
Read moreSo, on 9/26 I stopped in, ordered the outlaw steak, potatoes, and asparagus to go(best steak on the menu). Well, unfortunately they did make a mistake, and it was cooked completely wrong. They were busy, IT HAPPENS. No big deal, not worth ruining the day over. It was still OK, but definitely not how I like steak, and not at that price. I called the next day, and spoke with someone. Tonight I stopped in, and met with the manager, Cloe (I HOPE I spelled that right). She was EXTREMELY profesional, friendly, and accommodating, and took care of the issue. The service and friendliness of this location is beyond describing. The entire staff is always great. I come here about once a month. It’s ALWAYS great. The young lady Gabby, who works the take out counter is efficient, friendly and polite. Never once did she come By, or speak with me, and not have a huge smile. I ordered a beer while I waited for my order to go. Although I didn’t catch the young bartenders name. He was tall, pony tail, thin facial hair, he was very friendly, and very quick to get my beer. The place was PACKED, and BUSY. Yet even though it was busy, I must have been asked by 5 people, and both bartenders if I was being helped, while I waited for the manager. That’s excellent service. After the bartender noticed I was standing there a bit (after my food order was in) he asked my name, and double checked to see if my order was out yet. Obviously helping cover the take out counter, and helping Gabby. Leadership comes from the top, and it comes by example. OBVIOUSLY, the excellent service, from All the different staff members, comes from the example set by the manager, Chloe. I travel for work, so I eat out a lot. This place ABSOLUTELY has the best service, the friendliest employee, the best manager, and the best food I have found in LITERALLY hundreds of restaurants accross, approximately 27 states so far. I will be forwarding this review onto corporate via...
Read moreHorrible Management!!! Neshaminy 9:40 pm on a weekday night. My husband and I waited 11 minutes to be seated. Once we got the attention of a staff member coming from the back, she was frustrated that we request to sit in a booth (due to back pain). Once the server came over, she explained how they were getting ready to go home soon. We than asked should be leave? She replied, no it’s cool. We ordered soft drinks and two meals. My husband chose a Cesar salad as his side. Once it arrives, we asked was the dressing mixed in. The server replied, it’s a Cesar salad and it comes with only Cesar dressing. So, we asked the question again and she game the same answer. Moving forward, when ordering I pointed to the picture (which explained the different meat temperatures) and asked for mine to be prepared medium well with NO blood. My sides was Mac n cheese with spinach. As a guy was passing, I asked was he the manager and he replied “why do I not look like a manager” (as he leaned above me, licking his lips during the entire conversation). I explained my frustration and wanted to make sure my food was prepared properly. To my surprise, my food came out medium with no spinach. I called “Will” the manager over and showed him my food and what was missing. I than told him it was definitely a coaching experience and most of these mistakes could have been avoided. When we were ready to go, I asked for the bill and when I was ready to pay, I was told that the bill was closed out and I could only pay, not tip. The attitudes here are ridiculous. Not to mention, the next day I called hoping to speak to a more mature manager and got Will’s Manager who was worst than and quick to pass the complaint on to his regional manager. The is definitely room for staff development and training. Seriously? Why are the...
