Ok so I’m gonna break this down into 2 categories and break it down.
The Food wasn’t that good at all, you can tell the rice was like a frozen microwaveable rice by the taste and texture. The taste of the rice was ok at most. The steak wasn’t terrible a little tough but it wasn’t the worst I’ve ever had, the pork carnitas were salty and the flavor just wasn’t there. The Guacamole lacked in salt, lime juice, and didn’t have cilantro either so the flavor was really lacking. I took one bite of the guacamole and went right back to the salsa. The salsa was good. But definitely some sort of store bought salsa. I don’t understand how foods that take really little effort to prepare are below a certain standard. What I will say positive is that the frozen margarita was pretty good, and the honey chipotle fried shrimp wasn’t terrible either. They had ONE burger on the menu, which is funny to me it just seemed almost pointless, and the menu was really a lot to take in when all they serve is rice, beans, tacos, burritos, enchiladas, flautas, quesadillas, fajitas, and bowls. They definitely need a new and improved, better divided menu. One more thing I will say is the dessert LOOKED really good but I didn’t get any out of disappointment from my meal. Rating 3/10
The Service was alright our server seemed nice but once we got our food she never checked up on us until the end. Took us FOREVER to get a to go box and check because of that fact. One thing that really drove me crazy about this restaurant is that the table literally had ZERO condiment or napkins. No salt, pepper, ketchup, hot sauce, napkins, ANYTHING, and it wasn’t just my table, it was all the tables. If the food is gonna be below average at least supply your customer with something to spice up the food and make it better. Rating 2/10
Overall I could’ve went to a food truck and been more satisfied. Definitely not planning on...
Read moreAbsolute worst experience I have ever had here. I typically dine here 1-2x/month, and have never had major issues. I asked for a corner booth, and was told it would be about an hour wait - we waited for about 90 minutes before we were seated, I was ok with having to wait because this was our request, even though we ended up getting another table.
When we got to the table, the waitress took our order for drinks (soda and water). Took about 10 mins to get the drinks. Coke was completely flat and watered down, and you could visually see the change in color. She brought the chips and salsa, which were all just crumbs and undercooked. She said she would bring out another batch and never did.
We finally ordered our food - 5 entrees. They brought out our food about 15 mins later: Meal 1 - undercooked food Meal 2 - undercooked food Meal 3 - undercooked food Meal 4 - wrong items Meal 5 was the only correct one. We asked for silverware, they never brought it. We made the waitress aware of the undercooked food and service issues, she took the food back, and had a 2nd person bring it back 5 minutes later, completely burned to a crisp.
I asked the 2nd person if I could speak with the manager, she proceeded to say “I am the manager” and then apologized for the poor service and food and excused it as being understaffed. She said service would be better next time we come in to eat. What manager is ok with serving food like this?
