NOBO — Attraction in Benton Harbor

This location is INCREDIBLY disappointing as is every employee I've run into other than Mikki (obviously I haven't dealt with all the employees I'm sure). The website gives you the option to pay with your debit card, and when you get there they tell you to use the ATM which charges a fee, as does my bank. Mikki ALWAYS has gotten the card reader to work for me yet other employees make excuses and have told me they don't take debit card when I pay with debit every time I'm in there (which is multiple times a week). They've wasted my time and gas on multiple occasions making me leave as they refuse to even try the card reader, even though it has worked EVERY SINGLE TIME. It's obviously laziness on the part of the employees who are more okay with losing a sale than trying to figure out what's going on. They literally don't even try to do anything. I seriously wonder how many thousands of dollars this location has lost because of their unprofessional staff. Again, Mikki is great and has literally gotten the card reader to work fine every time I'm there. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be back. There's a plethora of other dispensaries in the area that haven't given me this type of trouble...

I really enjoyed my first visit to NOBO! The woman who helped me in the express pick-up line was extremely helpful and I appreciate how she explained the various discounts to me and comped me a few free joints! I rate four stars only because after I got home, I noticed that I was charged the recreational taxes after explaining how I placed the order on the rec website because I wasn’t sure I could use my out-of-state med card and erred on the side of caution. My med card was reviewed & I was told I received the medical tax-rate of 6% instead of the rec tax-rate of 16% which I was thrilled about!

I trusted this as she explicitly stated it, and did not check the receipts until I returned home, about 2 hours away. The taxes were about $40 so I was bummed about that. I understand humans make mistakes & I can’t really complain considering how kind the staff was, the fabulous discounts/freebies, and how great the prices are compared to what I typically pay! NOBO it's a fantastic dispensary to go to. The staff is extremely kind and helpful, the deals are out of this world Especially if you're coming from Illinois where weed is taxed heavily making it at least three to four times more than Michigan. At NOBO they honored my new customer coupons. All three times( 10% first time 20% second time and 30% for the third visit today). The great part is that I visited in like 2 months intervals. Usually for those coupons they expire after 2 weeks or maybe a month but they honored it even though they gave it to me 6 months ago. Finally, the weed is out of this world. I thought that it was going to be lower quality due to how low the prices are, but I swear these edibles hit better and they're more smooth than anything I've had in Illinois. And can I say, it's only 2 hours from Chicago? I bought enough stuff for 2 months for the price of 2 100 mg packets of edibles at Illinois dispensaries (7x the amount).
