Little Darlings — Attraction in Bentonville

I was excited to find this kids' resale shop in Bentonville. I usually go to Once Upon A Child but thought I would try this shop for reselling my kids' clothes and shoes. I had a huge basket full of clothes and shoes, most in excellent condition and some brand new shoes. Easily over 100 items. I sorted everything and dropped it off. They called me within 10-15 min and said they had already gone through everything, which seemed fast. I came back, and they did not take ANYTHING. Of all the consignment and resale store I have been to, this has never happened, especially with 100+ items! I asked why she did not take any and she said they only want Nike and similar brands for shoes, and that was her only explanation for anything. I feel like this was a complete waste of a drive from Fayetteville and all my time. I won't be back for resale again, and I don't recommend if they are that picky and don't even tell you why. HOWEVER, the store was quite large and had a large selection of kids' clothes and just about anything else for babies and kids. I love this shop!! I took some donations in today and they paid very well. I was pleasantly surprised. They had a great selection of children and baby clothing and other items. I walked out with several summer outfits for my toddler. The store is clean and very well organized. Many clothing items are name brand or boutique items. On a previous visit I purchased my toddler a Ralph Lauren Polo dress for $10. The dress was brand new with tags and retailed for $89. I was thrilled! Kids grow so fast and I can't justify paying high dollar for clothes, so I'm so happy this store exists. They have one side dedicated to children and baby items and the other for home decor. I've been shopping and selling here for years. I have found clean, good quality children's clothing and shoes, as well and household furniture and decorating items that no one would ever guess is consignment. It is a family run business, and really is the embodiment of "shop local". They are very picky about what they buy, so if they turn down your items, try not to be too upset. The items here are of excellent quality, and sometimes feelings get hurt in the pursuit of that. Plus, their prices are amazing. Sometimes, I wonder how they make any money on some of their stuff.
