We have had consistently negative experiences with the staff / online services of Louise.
The food and atmosphere are both fantastic (in fact it keeps us going back despite the consistently bad experience we have as a family) but cannot make up for the amount of times we have left with a bad taste in our mouths. (Or lack of taste because we couldn’t even eat)
In person many of the staff are young and inexperienced which is fine. But only getting served water once, not getting checked up on, or so much as a happy glance from NOT JUST ONE waitress in the times we have been has been disheartening. We love the food but the service just hasn’t been what we would have liked.
My wife called one Sunday morning asking to make an order for take out. They recommended touching base later so it would be easier for them (we were placing an order 2 hours out). When we called later (3 times), she was told they were too busy to take an order but to call back in 10 minutes. She called back later per their recommendation and was then hung up on. (If you are busy can you just say so sorry we can’t help?)
After that my wife left a message to speak to the manager. She left a message with her name and number and no one ever called back. Maybe management doesn’t care either?
Now the reason I’m compelled to write a review today, (3 weeks after that event). We placed an order on DoorDash to be picked up in 2 hours. We had no luck calling that day to make an order OR with the app on their website so we figured this was more dependable. DoorDash has everything on their menu and prices and let us customize everything.
We placed the order only to learn 2 hours later that “Louise does not have door dash so there is no order here to pickup.” I immediately called Louise and was met again with nothing but voicemail. I called two more times and was met with nothing.
I would not be able to believe that we can be the only ones dealing with these problems consistently, right? I love their food and vibe but I doubt we can keep making excuses for them and for management, if they care about customers.
Unfortunately this restaurant is in a great part of town with hundreds of 5 star reviews so this review will most likely get unnoticed or even a reply...
Read moreWe haven’t been back to Louise since December since last time we went we had slow service, so we decided to try it again. This time was the worst service we have ever had. The waitress with the long brown hair tied in a pony tail with glasses took our order (Louise?). We told her we wanted to put in our two year old daughters breakfast/lunch since she was starving. We asked for the kids chicken tenders and my husband asked for a cup of coffee and I asked for a latte. My latte and her kids chicken tenders came out but my husbands coffee never did. He then asked for it again which she gave it to him. The chicken tenders were so spicy (for a child) so we asked the manager a short guy with blonde/red hair what happened. He didn’t know and went to ask the kitchen. Apparently they were using the same recipe that they were using for Bite (a NWA food event). Not kid friendly at all. He comp the meal (thanks) and gave her fruit; however, the damage was already done as our daughter didn’t wanted to eat anymore because of the spicy chicken. My husband wasn’t very hungry so he asked for the mini breakfast plate. She wrote it down and went her way. Once the food showed up it was a huge plate of food. We asked her what is this? She said it was the breakfast plate but not the “mini” because the it was only for kids. She did not explain this when he ordered she just said okay and went about her business to take the order to the kitchen. We waited a while before we saw her and she rarely checked on us. Our glass water bottle she left on the table was empty.
The food took forever, she forgot my husbands coffee and had to ask again for it way after my latte was served, the chicken was way to spicy for our child, the server failed to tell us we couldn’t get the breakfast mini plate until after the food was served and it was an overall...
Read moreWe were seated inside when we were rudely kicked to an outside table due to having a small service animal with us. It was windy and cool out and we preferred to sit inside. When we checked in we were told a service animal could be inside and everyone seemed fine with it including our waitress. The Manager named Casey who came to our table was extremely rude and blunt. He said absolutely no animals inside the restaurant and proceeded to grab our drinks and take them to a table outside without even letting us speak or have a say so in anything. The service animal is my Father in Laws who was visiting from out of state and wanted to go to the restaurant to see the planes. He was in the service and has PTSD. He has survived cancer and has many ailments requiring the service animal. We have been more than welcomed at many places, but to be treated like poor trash was uncalled for. I feel like if I had walked in looking like I was rich and had money, or flew in that this would not have been the case. Extremely disappointed with the way this experience went. There are laws for service animals and we should not have been treated differently than anyone else entering the restaurant. We have paperwork for the dog also and when I said she was a service dog, he said no animals allowed inside the restaurant. This is highly against the law, and the sad part was we paid $86 for our meals and coffee and the atmosphere at our table was utter disgust. We ate and paid because we had already ordered after waiting an hour for a table inside. I will never go here ever again. I would like a refund on my meals also for the way we...
