JIA HOME CO — Attraction in Berkeley

JIA Home Co has some one of my favorite scented candles of all time, Tea Talk. I first got a chance to smell their candles when I visited Chunky in LA Chinatown, and I was so obsessed with the small tin of Tea Talk I purchased that I ended up buying 3 of the larger candles during their Imperfect sale. I think JIA Home Co. has such a subtle and interesting take on nostalgic aromas that remind folks of home (why their name is so apt!). I highly recommend getting their candles for yourself or for someone you love as a gift. I can't wait to visit their shop in person and hope I can take one of their candle-making...

I took my partner here for one of her birthday festivities that I planned for her and we both agree it was a hit. Me and my partner had a really fun time making our own candles today. The owner is very professional, fun, and knowledgeable. She made the whole experience one of me and my partners favorite experiences/memories. The studio and atmosphere were very clean and organized. Went here as part of a Mother’s Day celebration. The candle making class was fantastic. The hostess created a calm, relaxing environment. She was extremely knowledgeable, helpful and accommodating.
