This is a friendly and comfortable spot. It is one of my favorite places to watch sports, especially soccer. My friends from Southern California seem to think this is the most authentic taquria in west Berkeley. The plates and alacarte items are like home cooked meals. Read moreThis feels very retro and has its own charm of a restaurant. Gallegos is off the busy San Pablo ave, and they even have their own parking lot which is nice.
The prices on the menu are really fair for the area, so you can’t resist great Mexican food at a decent price.
