I recently visited the Jack in the Box location in Berkeley and had the pleasure of meeting Linda, who provided exceptional service that exceeded my expectations. As I was conversing with her, I mentioned the challenges I faced at another Jack in the Box location due to city guidelines restricting the use of plastic straws. I also shared my experience with their new boba milk tea, expressing disappointment at not being able to receive a large plastic boba straw due to these regulations.

She kindly informed me that at the Berkeley location, they were not bound by the same restrictions and went above and beyond by generously providing me with five extra straws. Her thoughtful gesture ensured that I would have them on hand for future visits to the other location, should I decide to indulge in another boba treat. Read moreAs a frequent and loyal customer of Jack in the Box I was really taking back by the lack of customer service that I received. I recently became vegetarian but still wanted to enjoy the taste of a restaurant that I happily enjoyed. I went into the Jack in the Box located in Berkeley,CA and asked the Cashier or manager(unsure) if it was possible for me to do a special order. I wanted to order a bun with all of the condiments and I was told that I was unable to order it in that way. She explained to me that the only way for me to order how I wanted, I would have to order a Burger but just without meat. I then asked her if I would be paying the same price, and she said yes. I find it highly unacceptable to charge someone the same price for not getting meat as someone who is. If the restaurant is able to add a charge for a particular item/customization then they should be able to also make changes and delete. There's many other vegetarians in the world that I'm sure would also like to enjoy coming to your restaurant but being gotten over on is not right. Read moreGood afternoon as I stood in line waiting to be served by one of the representatives there at Jack In The Box I noticed several things that I thought could have been done better one there was a half a tray of french fries in the French fry holder just sitting and waiting to be served up the fry cook removed the existing fries that were there and dumped them back into the grease I myself I ordered curly fries and noticed when my curly fries were served to me they have been refried at least once after sitting in the tree they were extremely hard I noticed during the lunch time. There's rush rush rush. I think that gloves and hats should be worn at all times to prevent any items from the hair are any bacteria from the hands to come in contact with the food this I have noticed there are no gloves being worn and food is being warmed over by being refried in the deep fryer McDonald's I noticed do not do this all your fries are fresh this particular store I will not visit again I was refunded my cash after I explained that the french fries were hard and manager or the fry cook that was their kind of gave me a strange look.
