An amazing experience that everyone needs to try. The environment is clean, calm, and welcoming and the staff has been very nice and helpful. There is complimentary tea and coffee, great to sip on while reflecting and coming back to the outside world. It's one of the most relaxing things you can do, with lasting benefits for the mind and body.
They have three different tanks, two closed and one open. I have tried both open and closed. The open tank has a little more room and a nice atmosphere, but my float in the closed tank was a bit deeper and more enjoyable. I had some caffeine and a stressful day prior to the open tank, likely a factor.
There's nothing quite like the womb-like environment. I requested warmer water and air for my second float, it felt closer to my body temperature and aided in full relaxation and losing my senses. My first float even left me quite euphoric and the feelings stayed with me for the week. Anxiety, depression, and chronic pain are areas I've noticed benefits in. Since my first visit, I've felt a bit of weight off my mind and body and it's been easier to step back and relax whenever I'm feeling overwhelmed or negative.
Some people have revelatory and/or psychedelic type experiences in the tanks, though I have yet to. I assume it's similar to approaching lucid dreaming from a waking state as I've experimented with, but my sessions have just been calm and relaxing, a nice time to truly silence my mind, take a break, and just be. I've read that it takes 3-4 floats to get the most benefit and get into the deeper experiences and meditation, so I can't wait to keep...

I was really looking forward to floating tonight, and I made sure to follow the guideline listed on your website — that clients should wait 7 days after coloring their hair before floating. I had my hair professionally toned 8 days ago, so I felt I met the stated requirement.
I called to be proactive and respectful — to double-check whether I should wash my hair again beforehand, not because I was unsure about eligibility. I was trying to be extra cautious and responsible.
Instead, I was told — in a very dismissive and rude tone — that the actual policy is 14 days, and that I shouldn’t have signed up in the first place. The person I spoke to insisted I cancel my float, refused to issue a refund, and also refused to resend me the policy when I asked for clarification. I knew I had read it was 7 days — otherwise I wouldn’t have booked — but she kept insisting I was wrong, then rudely told me she had to hang up to help other customers.
I looked on the website and couldn’t find the policy. I tried calling back shortly afterward to request a copy of the policy and to clarify things calmly, but no one answered. I found that to be very unprofessional, especially since I was only trying to understand the policy I was being penalized for. It added to my frustration and made me feel dismissed rather than supported.

This is my second session in a row that seems like water temp was low temp and maybe even low water level in room 3... also had issues with hearing people talk in the lobby even with ear plugs in and ears under water. Maybe I didn't get the door closed completely? Also had issues with almost no water pressure in shower after float and hard to get clean and salt off. Believe people in all 3 rooms were showering at the same time. Didn't wan't to mention when I left because other 2 guests were still in the lobby talking with the host. She is so nice and kind and didn't want to embarrass her or let others hear of issues I had. Have had many great FLOAT sessions and don't intend for others to see this as a negative review. I will be back

Thanks for the reply from the owner... I honestly did not intend for this to be a publicly posted review but just comments about recent experience. I am a huge fan of FLOAT and have actually purchased more sessions since this original post. Sessions at FLOAT have made a significant impact on helping my joint pain and will continue to come back again and again... I am changing my review to 5 stars because I am a fan and also appreciate the feedback...
