I went to Louis Anthony Jewlers because of my girlfriend's naked ring finger… She felt it was scandalous to go out into public that way! Because her finger, in that spot, was especially soft; I felt it was necessary to get something hard there to compensate.

Dazzled by the beautiful baroque interior of the store, we had to linger a while to have our eyes adjust. The staff was extremely friendly and approached us offering refreshments as we discussed the best way solve the problem of the naked finger. Lou approached us during that conversation and joined in. After reviewing some beautiful options, Louis, my girlfriend and I decided that the best solution was a diamond engagement ring created by the craftsmen at Louis Anthony Jewelers.

After getting a feel for my girlfriend's preferences, Louis privately met with me to discuss options… He presented me with three very very beautiful stones in the style that my beloved like the best, and different options to aid the presentation of that stone upon the ring. I had contacted a number of Rolex dealers in the process of having a Rolex I have owned for over twenty years serviced. I also wanted to buy another Rolex, as the one being serviced I was gifting to my son.

I had no idea how drastically the supply and demand balance had changed in the Rolex market in the past twenty years; nor did I understand how pricing now worked due to the supply/demand situation.

In a relative short period of time, much sooner than any of the other Rolex dealer claimed possible, I had a new Rolex on wrist.
