Update 3/17/24 Wow. I never learn, do I? I figured I have bad luck with delivery, bad luck with pickup… I need lunch before work yesterday, I will go in and order a bowl at the counter and eat it in my car before I start my shift. I walk into a decent sized line but it’s fine, I have time. Oh. My. GOD. I was in the same place in line for 20 minutes. Being understaffed was not the issue, but the only person on the line obviously didn’t want to be there and dilly-dallyed until he was down with his shift at 4:00. I have never seen someone work so slow. He wasn’t new, he was bragging about how long he’s worked there, he was just being whiny and took it out on the customers. I changed my order to a burrito because at this point I had been there over thirty minutes and I was going to have to eat on my way to work. The cashier disappeared into the back to talk to someone, then there was a backup of people waiting to pay. I should have known better, I should have left after waiting ten minutes. I truly learned my lesson this time. Avoid this location at all costs.
I could go on for hours about how many bad experiences I’ve had here. I’m a person who believes in second chances but I’ve given this Chipotle location way too many second chances. I finally had it today. I ordered a sofrita bowl for delivery because I needed something quick between my two jobs. I didn’t get any extras. One portion of protein and rice, sour cream and cheese. When it got delivered, it felt super light.l but like I said, I didn’t get much. It was rice, a dollop of sour cream and a toss of cheese. A few fajita veggies I didn’t ask for and NO sofritas. I paid $16 for creamy rice… Again, this was just the most recent bad experience with this location, I’ve had a LOT. The employees are rude. And you can’t even call in and speak to anyone, you have to call the corporate number which is impossible to get ahold of someone. They offered me an entree loaded onto my account… that expires in 30 days. I asked for a refund. Drive out of your way to a...
Read moreI ordered catering through this Chipotle for an event, and it was an absolute nightmare. I have a newborn baby and was hosting 30 people at my house for a family event, and there was an issue with my payment which they didn’t make known to me until the morning of the event, so because of this they had to cancel my delivery. When I told them that was extremely inconvenient, they said there was nothing they could do & that I’d have to pick it up and pay for it in person. I tried fighting them but they said there was nothing they could do and asked if I wanted to cancel. I said NO, do not cancel it. I will find someone to pick it up. So I had to coordinate that while also preparing for an event and juggling a baby and other kids. Then they called me multiple times when I was at my child’s baptism. I called them back 30 min later and they told me they did not have my order prepared because they didn’t think I was going to pick it up. I told them their communication was terrible and that I was very clear that I did not want the order cancelled. The girl on the phone was extremely rude and told me they couldn’t risk losing almost $400 of food, so they didn’t prepare it. Well, what about the fact that I’m a paying customer, spending $400 on food at their branch and had a scheduled pickup time and confirmed with them that I would be there to get it?? They treated me terribly. She was talking/yelling over me when I was trying to explain the situation and ask for a discount because of the miscommunications and extreme inconvenience they were causing me. She couldn’t help me, couldn’t give me any sort of discount. The food was an hour late to my event. Nightmare situation. Horrible customer service. I will no longer be a customer of this chipotle branch. The people who work there need serious training in...
Read moreStaff is always friendly, and they try their best to get orders out in a timely manner.
Portions sizes are very little.
Instead of getting rice or the mixed greens as the base, I always get romaine lettuce instead. So, I always order EXTRA romaine lettuce that way I have a filling meal. I also order extra steak for my protein.
This always happens to me, very little romaine lettuce and steak was not doubled. I don't get a lot in my bowl, so I know there is room to go a little bit more heavier on the portion sizes especially the lettuce. My partner and I will order out together and his bowl looks dense and is filling for him while my bowl is literally half of his.
I just wish they would look at the order when they make it and realize it's a little unfair.
Today he picked up our order, there was not a line out the door. They could have taken a second to compare the two and see how little I got. Not to mention my sauces I had got on the side never made it into the bag, so my order wasn't even made right.
Guys, I know you have to be stricter on portion sizes, but I just want a little more lettuce :(
In general Chipotle as a company needs to take a little time to reflect on how much they are cutting back. Either give back fair portion sizes or take away the "Extra" option in the app because I get so hopeful and then instantly disappointed when I open the lid of my bowl.
Now I am left still...
