Last night was literally my worst experience at an Olive Garden!!! Worst service I’ve received in a long time. I understand it being busy, but our waitress might as well outright told us she was going to ignore us. She didn’t even introduce herself to us. In between the long waits she never bothered to check on us, or even just say something simple like “sorry, we’re just so busy”. We were sat and waited 20 minutes to even get the breadsticks??? We ran out of our soup and our drinks and were hoping she’d come back so we could get a refill…I got to the point where I literally used the little screen thing and had it flashing red trying to get her or any servers attention and she still didn’t come by until it was to give us our food. So probably 20 minutes beyond Finishing!!! The drinks Before she came by again. What’s the point of unlimited soup and breadsticks if you’re not going to even come by to give us soup until our main meal is there…and then never even offered more breadsticks or anything. We were there for almost 2 hours and saw her probably 3 times. My wedding soup was like so much spinach? Idk if she just didn’t stir the pot but I was pretty baffled. When it came time to pay she didn’t ask anything like “cash or card?”..no she just silently grabbed the screen and fiddled with it till it was on the pay screen??? I’ve never had a waitress so blatantly just ignore customers. It was my boyfriend’s BIRTHDAY dinner too!!!!! Worst restaurant experience. Put a sign on her head “don’t tip me!” Next time! I quite truly believe it’s because I am younger (in my twenties). I saw a table nearby of an “older” (middle aged) group who she definitely was waiting on hand and foot, constantly over there with her back always to us. I have never been so annoyed with a waitress, I work in customer service I know it can be hell, but we did NOTHING to warrant that treatment. If you pick and choose who you think deserves better service, well guess what lady, you aren’t cut out for it. The food was fine besides the overly spinached soup. Typical Olive Garden.

We visited Olive Garden this past Friday after grocery shopping for a quick bite. I want to preface, our server was excellent. We did the all you can eat soup/salad/breadsticks and a chicken parm to share. After my second bowl of soup, I heard a loud clank on my spoon. I look down and there is a rusted piece of metal (almost like the top of a salt shaker) in my soup covered in spinach! I’ve heard of this happening to others through my life, BUT, this was a first for me. I was appalled I almost ate rusted metal! Here comes the 1 star. We met with the manager Will who immediately took the bowl and the piece of metal. After this, we told our server what had happened and that he could throw our meals out (soup, chicken parm) as expected, we had to appetite. Will returned roughly 10 minutes later and explain he has no idea where this came from and nothing in their kitchen looks like this. It almost felt as this man was telling me I brought in a rusted piece of metal and popped it in my second bowl of soup. Will said that he can comp our food but not our drinks and gave us a $30 gift card. This guy not only made me feel that I put the metal in the soup, but he didn’t comp our two drinks?? We ended up using the $30 gift card for our $10 worth of peach iced tea and left the remaining $20 on the gift card as a tip for our waiter (he truly was phenomenal). Needless to say, we will never return to this location (possibly never any restaurant again) and want to bring awareness to how this was shoved under the table with the manager taking no accountability for his establishment. I can truly only imagine what goes on behind closed doors and feel that this needs to be out there for anyone planning a dinner at this location.

The food was good. We had Lacey(?) who was nice but something happened. I ordered a shrimp scampi, and when the food came out she handed me what turned out to be chicken scampi and said “Here’s your shrimp scampi.” What’s strange about this, is that the chicken scampi was on our receipt, too. I wasn’t upset about that - it was $0.20 less - or the food. I don’t consider myself a picky eater. If a place doesn’t have what I want, I’ll happily take almost anything else, but it just seemed pretty obvious that shrimp scampi was not on that plate. We overheard that she forgot the soup at the table next to us. Again, the food was great. It typically is. We’ve been here before and we’ll go here again. I’m still giving them four stars because this was an early Friday evening, but we’ve seen OG busier at the same time of day/week.

A friend and I stopped in yesterday. I checked the app to join the waitlist prior to arriving, but the app stated there was no wait for a party of 2 & to come on in. We went in and were told 35-40 mins for a table. The hostess told us the app is always wrong…… ok? We were very hungry, so we sat at the bar. The bartender, James D, was very rude - to everyone. He told us twice he’d be right with us, and finally, after 15 minutes, he took our drink order begrudgingly. After about another 20 mins, he finally took our appetizer order. We sat and chatted, finished our first round of drinks and entire appetizer before James finally stopped to talk to us again, despite us trying to get his attention multiple times (we were the only people at the bar for a while & he had two tables when we sat down). Anyways, instead of asking us politely if we’d like to order, he asks “so are you going to order entrees or…..?” Like, yeah, James. We’d love to put our order in; we’d been there for about an hour at this point. I ordered another beverage at that time as well, but I didn’t get it until I was half way done with my entree. The slow service is one thing, but as we were sitting at the bar, James berated multiple colleagues. Demanding them do to things for him, calling one useless because they were too busy doing their job to help him, and openly being irritated, stating that no one was going to run his food. He was visibly flustered, and as I mentioned, had only a couple tables and us (party of 2). A few drink tickets rang in here and there, but they were mostly beers. If you can’t work under pressure, don’t be a bartender. We were very uncomfortable sitting there as he stomped around and threw a temper tantrum at work.

A few other mishaps: -We ordered waters when we sat down and had to ask twice more (when he would finally give us the time of day) before we ever received them. -He asked us when we sat if we were on 1 check or 2. We said 1. At the end of our meal, he gave us 2. -As he was working, he apparently injured himself multiple times or at least had near calls (slamming things in the sink, dropping beer, slipping on a lemon). Each time, he yelled loudly and made a scene. Awkward and unprofessional. Would not recommend sitting at the bar.

Hindsight; we should have just waited...

DId a large pickup carside order for a memorial day get together that we didn't have time to cook for, so decided to pick up one of the family bundles. We got the Parmesan chicken family size meal with the salad and breadsticks bundle.

It was perfectly on time, and was hot and fresh. The online ordering system and pickup was very easy and intuitive and caused no issues. When you get there you just use the text you get sent about ten minutes before the scheduled pickup time to check in and let them know which spot you are in. They brought it out, in two big bags, very nice employee, masked and responsible, and handed it to us through the windows. Fast and simple. It took about 20 minutes to get to the house and unload the food and people started eating within about 30 minutes.

The chicken parmesan was a bit soggy by that point, but that was expected based on the decision to get breaded fried chicken covered in marinara sauce to go. It was still tasty and exactly as expected from Olive Garden though, so not a big deal. Just the bottom part was a bit soggy, the tops were in decent shape. The chicken and the spaghetti is kept seperate, and the sauce is in its own container. The sauce spilled a few drops in the ride, but it was a bumpy ride, so it did really well overall, they definitely put effort into packing everything nicely and separately.

The salad is HUGE and we had about 50% left after 7 people eating! It came with a full bottle of their italian dressing and croutons on the side. The breadsticks were good, the usual expected quality and taste. It would have been nice if their had been just a couple more for the cost of the salad bread bundle, but the salad was so big I understand lol.

Next time we would probably get the lasagna or the spaghetti and meatballs just because it would save in the drive better, but overall the food was good and it was a lot of food for 70 bucks! I would definitely grab food for a get together here again.

I only gave the four stars because the chicken wasn't very crispy from the sauce, and the food at Olive garden in general isn't the best italian, but it is a good deal and good for mixed company with picky kids involved. Definitely a four star kinda place.Very good, but could be better :) The caveat is that service was...
