MetraPark - First Interstate Arena — Attraction in Billings

Went to the Outlaws game on Saturday, April 22. The reason I went was to see my grandaughter do a cheer during half time. But also to checkout the Outlaws. The half time program also had a couple teams play flag football. Lots of families with children at this game. I had friends there who tried to bring in HEALTHY snacks for their kids plus water. I even wanted to bring in water. Everyone was told they had to buy food and water I side the metro. Wait, What?? So you want to give your kids a health snack and all you can buy is fried chicken, French fries, ice cream and chips with fattening unhealthy cheese? You can bring granola bars through security at the airports!!! The security was way out of line and very bossy and treated us like we were criminals. Not going back to an...

Not a bad areana! Staff was pleasant, and the venue was clean.

Biggest set backs I had was trying to actually get there and getting in. The roads leading up to the arena are lack luster and poorly marked (which, I know is more on the city, but still a concern). Once there, trying to find parking was a pain as well, as the parking lot is also lack luster. No very well lit, and for the size of it, I wish there was more markings so you could have a better idea of where you parked. Once I got parked and to the doors, I got told I had to take my 6mp camera back to my car, but my 12mp phone was ok. I was ok with it, but I wish there was signs or something so I didn't have to wait...

Here for the Montana State Wrestling Championships. Venue is okay, reason for the low ratings, you'd think a place this nice would have or provide some cell service or wifi. At best 1-2 bars, but no access what's so ever with a full stadium. I can see wifi ability, but it's all locked and they won't give any access. Makes a 2 day event like this very difficult when all the match info and schedule is online. Yes, there is one board with the schedule, but hard to see when sitting. Not having cell or wifi access in this kind of facility for this kind of event is not okay. And forgot trying to do any other business or sharing videos with grandparents or family....
