Boomtown Casino Biloxi — Attraction in Biloxi

Wow...I have a lot of negative to say about Boomtown today.. I opened up Boomtown as a cocktail server I believe, over 30 years ago.... Oh my my how it has changed!!!... First, they do not play country music,.( One of the things that set Boomtown a part from the rest)... Second,... They finally opened the buffet back up,.. And the food is 180 degrees different than what it was .. When we opened, our food was absolutely the best buffet in town..( they actually had people that knew how to cook)... The shrimp, now,... Has no seasoning except crab boil., and they aren't even cooked long enough... Unreal, the contrast, before and now ... 3rd... The cocktail servers wear pants and a shirt,.. What the hell??!!!,.. We wore cowgirl outfits with boots...4th .. What the hell happened to bartenders??!!.,.. The concerts??!!., the fun center??!!.. The tables??!!.,I mean, who is running this show???!!.,.. When I see the parking lots so empty,..I can't believe my eyes!!., the first few years we were packed every single night and every single day.... We had shrimp boils with live music out on the deck..., and THE SHRIMP WAS DELICIOUS, WITH POTATOES, SAUSAGE, LEMON, ONION, AND GARLIC... WE WERE PACKED ALL THE TIME!!!., it saddens me that Boomtown has become a casino that nobody even knows anymore... It's a shame.. Working at Boomtown was one of my fondest memories...I still have girlfriends from those days , when it was actually fun to work there.... Our feet would hurt from the boots... But we kept trucking and finally got the boots broke in.... It was a mistake to open the buffet this time until you actually knew how to cook the most important food .... Do you even taste the food that you're serving??.,! And if you do ,. Do the flavors sing to you, like a country song??!!.., my guess is, no,...

After coming home to visit, I decided to bring my siblings out to Boomtown. We arrived about 20 minutes before the end of lunch. I asked the hostess if we would be allowed to remain and continue to eat throughout dinner. She said, Yes. After getting our dinner plates, Josh Troutman, security, I think, and a manager (I also think) approached our table and said that if we wanted to continue to eat that we would have to pay the dinner price. I explained to them what the hostess had stated. Josh asked to see my receipt, and he and the other worker went to the back. They returned, informing my siblings and me that I could get dessert but they would have to take our plates. What??!!! I couldn't believe this. Remaining calm, I reiterated to them what the hostess had shared with us (the fact that we could stay and continue to dine). I told him how disappointed I was with the customer service. He was adamant; he refused to allow us to stay. He said they were going to take our plates. Even if he had allowed us to finish what we had already gotten ( what was on our plates), I would have felt better. I hadn't EVER had this kind of experience. If the worker who was with security is a manager, he is a very poor one and has extremely poor customer service skills. Though the food was delectable, the overall experience, mainly because of the worker's inconsiderateness and refusal to make ANY REASONABLE compromise, was unsatisfactory. I came yesterday in afternoon and I don't mind straight up who am I :) two young couple oh yes that's right . Your guys doing too much and people around seen that . The moment you walked in the door , a guy supposed to be checking didn't have a chance to talk but she came rushing in from the right side which shouldn't have been her job asked.me about ID ( Of course xD ( if you are passionate about your job, who can forbids you).
