The numerous rivers allow for many recreation activities as well. If you go in the summer though be warned, it feels like a sauna 100% of the time. It makes water activities ideal. If you wait for fall or winter the only thing that changes is it's to cold to swim. Everything else is still a go. We "usually" can wear shorts and sandals Christmas day. Lol The nightlife is very nice too. There are numerous casinos lining the immediate coast from Biloxi,MS to the Louisiana/Mississippi State line. 1 hour from Mobile,AL and 45 min from New Orleans,LA. Read moreThis is the fourth time that we come down to Cruising The Coast Hotel. Usually, it is very crowded Friday and Saturday night. This year it was so bad that you couldn’t bring a classic car on the road you just sit there and idle. These cars are not made to sit and idle but to move so they can stay cool. The last night we could cruise was Thursday night. It took us 1 hour and a half to go 2.8 miles. I was checking out license plates, about 95 percent MS . I brought my whole family as did three of our friends from AR. we’re from TX. the police were so bad that they took all the fun out along with not being able to access the road to cruise.
