Our visit to the Ohr-O'Keefe Museum in Biloxi was nothing short of exceptional, thanks in large part to the exemplary customer service we received from Dwayne.
Dwayne went above and beyond to ensure that my grandmother, who has some mobility challenges, was able to navigate the museum grounds with ease and comfort.
He took the time to provide us with assistance between the exhibitions, personally checked in with us throughout our visit, and even gave us a lot of information about the history of the town. His kindness, professionalism, and genuine care made our trip unforgettable.
Beyond Dwayne and the amazing staff (shout-out to Carolyn) the museum itself is a gem. The exhibits are thoughtfully curated, and the unique architecture of the grounds adds a special charm to the visit. I would highly recommend this museum to anyone visiting Biloxi—not just for the stunning art but for the world-class service provided by people like Dwayne. Thank you for making our day...
Read moreMy husband and I were on a short two day getaway visit at the Beau Rivage on our way back from visiting family in mobile! We are not gamblers; it was more of a time out for us; we love to explore the local attractions and the museum with the Frank Gerry buildings with its unmistakable unique characteristics caught my attention right off the bat! was excited to go visit! Sadly we waited till the rainy morning of our last day, and it was closed we learned, as we stumbled into the staff meeting! I was heart broken but then this fantastic young lady offered to give us a tour!!! I was elated and so touched by her kindness! She didn’t mind getting rained on holding her umbrella mostly over my head! What a kind soul! The exhibits are beautiful of course! The beauty of the the complexly intricate building is the most rewarding experience! I have been a fan of Frank Gehry designs (my favorite the dancing house). Thank you Ms. Erin! I am ever...
Read moreWe visited OOMA yesterday and had a wonderful experience. The exhibits were beautiful and inspiring. I've been following the museum's progress for decades, ever since I first learned about Ohr. The museum's inclusion of additional material related to Gulf coast art and history was welcome and interesting and we loved the exhibit on African-American artists. Staff and volunteers were friendly, very knowledgeable, and courteous. The buildings and setting were lovely, with views across the water. Last but not least, Joshua at OOMA's Trinity Cafe served us an amazing lunch of fresh, tasty, bountiful, attractive, and very affordable food. We had baked and smothered chicken, fresh grilled green beans, baked sweet potato, a fruit "cup" (actually a huge bowl), and lemon meringue pie. Thanks OOMA, we are looking forward to our next visit to this...
