The wife and I have both been in the restaurant industry growing up. We've been together 17 years, and this was by far the absolute worst experience we've had eating out. When we arrived, my wife had to use the restroom, and while in there, I was holding her purse. Two workers made comments (Hey man, nose purse, and another made a nice comment on my shirt.) I was thinking that this place was amusing and friendly. We found a table and sat for about 10 minutes before the bartender brought us menus and took out drink order. By now we are 2 of the 6 people inside. After our first beverage, more people were arriving (a little after lunch 30.) The waitress recommended the daily special for me (Kicked Chicken sandwich) and my wife had the catfish platter. We continued to order drinks patiently waiting our food arrival, which wouldn't seem to come.......I mean, come on, a sandwich with fries, and catfish with fries, what could take so long. My back was to the bar, but my wife kept seeing all the employees hanging out by the edge of the bar. The waitress checked on us twice in about an hour, no word on food status. Kept being patient, and by the time I was ready to leave, the food came. This is where I lost my cool, that never happens. The catfish platter was 4 nuggets a child would get, cold, greasy, and fries just nasty. My chicken sandwich had no buffalo sauce, 2 pieces of jalapenos, an onion, and soggy fries. I had to get a to go box, but when I tasted a piece of the chicken, we couldn't decide if it were chicken or talapia, both being paper thin. I just left the food there, paid for it all, but just left it. Unimpressed, disappointed, and I HATE wasting money. First time visiting TBT, and I can honestly say this will be my last. May be a great place to drink, but food, in my opinion, is well below par, and won't be planning on returning. Not once did anyone say hello, check on us, or anything, while everyone else is getting apps and food before us, when we showed up before them. Lack of communication, lack of food quality, and lack of customer service.

Disappointing Experience I recently visited The Blind Tiger with high hopes, but unfortunately, the experience fell short of expectations. From the moment we arrived and had to climb numerous stairs just to enter the restaurant, it was clear that things might not be as smooth as anticipated. Our initial impression was marred by the slow service from the waitress. It's frustrating when service isn't up to par, especially when you're hungry and eager to enjoy your meal. Moreover, the food itself was another letdown. The dishes were not prepared to our expectations, which was disappointing. The only saving grace was the French fries, which were a standout due to being made from real potatoes. It was puzzling to find that the drink "Fireball" wasn't chilled, as is commonly expected in most places. This detail might seem small, but it added to the overall sense of the restaurant missing the mark. The highlight of the visit was the bay view, offering a pleasant visual backdrop. However, even this couldn't fully compensate for the shortcomings. The room's temperature was uncomfortably warm, but thankfully, there were large overhead fans to provide some relief. In summary, my dining experience at The Blind Tiger was far from satisfying. The slow service, unexpected food quality, and other issues prevented the meal from reaching even a three-star rating. While the genuine French fries and the bay view were notable, they weren't enough to overshadow the overall disappointments of the visit.

Expected more than it delivered… Start with the highlights: Waitress: Fancy, was very polite and friendly - attentive, and literally provided was expected. Well done! Location: what’s not to like? Disappointments… Food: Ordered the raw oysters. No judgement on the oyster flavours… you never know what local stuff is gonna be like. But… they arrived ‘warm’. Maybe it’s a preference, but I always thought raw oysters should be served cold. I then ordered the seafood platter. crab, prawns, potato, corn. While the crab was tasty and delivered as expected, the Argentine prawns were, well… ‘soggy’ - was like eating ‘mush’. I’m not in the kitchen, so I’m not going to comment on ‘how they shoulda been cooked’, but I only ate three or four of the dozen or more on the platter. Dunno how you can ruin a potato and corn… but the corn was like eating mashed potato on a cob. I dunno… just, well… disappointing. Would I come back…? Probably not Other staff: Younger kids (well, younger than me) just disinterested, and seemed to be just passing the time. I’m not saying you gotta be full of enthusiasm… but the impression that they offer wasn’t very encouraging. Nice when you engage them… but the vibe was, “when does my shift end” It woulda been nice after a ‘seafood boil’ to have been offered a wet wipe too… but hey

3.8 million youtube subscribers 760 thousands Instagram and 680 thousands tweeter/X followers

Owners of several 4 to 5 stat restuarants and we wanted to add this to our title for the owner to read this as we will be making a video on it

Food deserved a 4 star the burger was really good I couldn't understand why not many people eat it, I always eat burgers as it is one of my biggest things I'm interested in with my partner and pur ypurube channel and for our viewers and their knowledge.

Now Atmosphere 2 star, reason place waa in a great spot not that but there was a issue that seemed to be something not many regular restuarants allow which is insane like I said me and my partner do this for a living and we just domt understand why this was the issue and it made it less harmonious as we sat and ate our food and I could see it on multiple employees faces which is something I wanted to ask but figured out which is why..

Service 0 stars today May 23 me and my partner business of course came to eat we wanted to sit outside and enjoy the sunset eat our food cause that is a likeness which is always a great thing, but as I stated prior we could see why harmony was being thrown out the window and it wasn't the employees fault, our server wasn't just a server we found out but a manager? My partner and I looked at each other as we said thats crazy why, would a manager be working tables? I have never nor has my partner seen this ridiculous subject in place. As we sat and ate she greeted us she wasn't the most polite individual as she seemed as if it didn't matter which is why we figured out she was a manager and not a server cause servers typically care and when we asked for a manager she approached and we were dumbfounded, this is a issue not a common one either, as we couldn't really complain or get things righted for the wrongs and attitude we recieved.

So as my final report on this place I say 1 star, which our 3.8 million subscribers and our 760 thousand Instagram followers will find out this is why you do not allow management to serve customers as it can cause a conflicting issue with trying to reprimand a situation with such a manner as this..

We own several restuarants the only time we step in line is when we are short handed, as that is okay but having more than 4-5 servers and a manager working a section is a big issue especially when it cokes to thay manager being the server you wish to make a complaint to the manager about.

This is really odd as I said we are a social media food group known for helping several restaurants as we suggest it to travelers all over the world and nation, this being said i wouldn't want anyone to have to deal with a manager in a issue as a server when it comes to her managing and also being a server we left with cool minds but wish we didn't have to relay this message via Google reviews I hope this finds its way to the owners/ general managers hand or eyes do not allow a manager to serve as thay is a huge conflicting when trying to get help with a server thag in your mind isn't doing their job admirably.. tips aren't a guarantee either.. when especially you know they atent doing their job correctly but especially when you know it is a manager making 4 times the wage as a regular server..

Sad everything wouldve been great my original review of this pla e was 4.5 to 5 star til of course this fiasco with a manager serving customers..

So as a professional and owner to another this issue I'd fix and maybe not allow management to serve your customers as it is a conflicting issue espeically when they arent great and have a sour attitude thank you..

Not even sure where to start, but...8 members of my family all went here to eat Tuesday night. I sincerely wish i had read the reviews first, because I probably would have chosen to go elsewhere. But, I didn't read reviews, so now I'll write my own. I'll start with the atmosphere.. it is open air, so be warned, it is HOT in there. The chairs are hard, backless, metal, square bar stools that weren't comfortable for anyone, but especially not for my 80 year old mother. Those are about the best things I can say about this place. If I could give them NO stars for service, I would. Our waiter seemed like he didn't want to be there at all. My 26 year old daughter is autistic, and also suffers from crippling anxiety. Because she's pretty high functioning for the most part, her conditions aren't immediately obvious to strangers. Due to her autism, she has a very limited palette of foods that she can/will eat. Foods with different textures, odd sauces, etc just don't work for her. After looking over the menu, there was NOTHING on the regular menu I felt she could/would eat. She also doesnt eat a whole lot, so when the waiter came to take our order, I asked if she could order chicken fingers from the kids menu. He immediately said "no!" In a harsh tone as if I was stupid for asking. I even offered to pay the price for an adult entree if she could just have the chicken fingers. He still said no, and that she would have to get "chicken orleans" (something like that)from the adult menu. I read the description but, it's grilled chicken with some kind of sauce and completely not the same as fried chicken fingers. Needless to say, that wouldn't work. So we were forced to order a double cheeseburger (which also came with some odd toppings and we had to order PLAIN) because they don't offer a single patty burger except on the kids menu, which, again, we weren't allowed to order from. I feel like this was discrimination against someone with an invisible disability. Sure, I could have told them she's autistic, but I honestly don't think it would have made a difference, and why should she have to be embarrassed by announcing her condition to someone simply to be served the food she wants in a restaurant?? I don't understand HOW it would have hurt this business to allow her to order those chicken fingers. It's not like we were trying to be cheap and order from the kids menu. As I stated previously, I offered to pay for an adult meal.. not to mention there were 7 other family members ordering, so I'm pretty sure they made their money off of us. Aside from their ridiculous refusal to allow her to order from the kid's menu, none of the food was even good. My mom ordered the crab cakes, after spending 10 minutes explaining that she didn't want the uneccesary weird topping on it, she thought they tasted fishy and odd. My daughter only ate half her huge hamburger that we paid $18 for and none of the fries. I ordered the cheese fries and they had very little actual cheese and was mostly just fries. Honestly, none of us enjoyed the experience but, for me personally, my whole evening was soured by their discriminatory policy of refusing to serve my daughter what she would/could eat. *Anyone who's ever spent time with an autistic person can understand that many autistics have very limited food palettes. They often have sensory issues with foods that have different textures and their gag reflex is easily triggered. Adding this fact, just in case anyone wants to say she's just a spoiled brat who needs to branch out. If your adult child is autistic, or your Mom is 80, avoid this place...
