This was our first outing here and we have some mixed reviews. Firstly I will say the staff is wonderful and friendly. Obviously the food and drink is a tad expensive but a once a month trip to the movies for a great movie is well worth it. I was actually surprised to see a full bar along with some great food choices as well as a short wait in line. People were respectful and stayed back at a nice distance ..covid and all..strangely ordered our tickets in advance and we never were asked once to show our purchase which I found odd. Apparently anyone can just come in and watch a movie. They never once asked us to show our tickets . The seats are awesome ! Like being at home kicking back and relaxing to watch a movie you've been waiting a while to see. Seating as I stated was awesome ..until 2 little girls with ages 13 plus who never understood the word shhhh. And constantly flashing phones from start to finish and giggling ...it was just rude ..the parent set 4 chairs away from them. I now know why. When you drop 100 dollars at an establishment..you expect to receive your monies worth. While we did for the most part . As loud as the movie was ..I still had trouble listening or hearing due to these children's incessant noise. This isn't the movie theatres issue this is an obvious parental issue . We had a good time. We would have had a great time had we not been so distracted. We will be returning for sure to see our next movie . Your place is a gem and a blessing in this crazy world we live in. I will take an escape once a month from reality as long as you are willing...
Read moreThis is our go to movie theater for a few reasons! You get to select your seats when ordering tickets online so you can be grouped up together and you can get the seats you want rather than having to pick from the leftovers when you walk in and see all the good seats are taken! The pop and popcorn are decent. They offer hot food too like Pizza and they will bring it to your assigned seat when it's ready (though I've yet to try out the food but the convenience of it is worth mentioning). The seats recline and certain screens have heated seats (which is a bonus for my Grandma). My only 2 complaints is that 1) I feel a slight bump on my tailbone while sitting in the recliners and I'm not sure why that it is. Never noticed it before but the last year or two I've been very uncomfortable in my seat tossing around to try and get a bit of relief from my tailbone. 2) Another slightly minor nuisance is that the numbers for the seating isn't perfectly clear. You have to start by looking at the number 1 seat and then counting down each seat until you get to yours because each armrest is shared with the seat next to you and there is only one number on each armrest which leads to confusion about which seat is your number. Over 80% of the time we find someone sitting in our seat/seats and have to ask them to move or explain why the seat they are sitting in isn't their seat and have a small argument. Otherwise though, I love Emagine. We don't go anywhere...
Read moreI normally have a really good experience at this theater, they have amazing pizza, popcorn and pop, the theater and seats are usually clean, the trays are often not as clean as they should be. Last night though, I had a not great experience. The seats are assigned seats, which is fine, however, they are numbered on a shared armrest, so it can be hard to tell what number goes with what seat. I didn't realize it, but I had sat in seat 9 instead of 8 on accident because of this. My chair said seat 8 on the arm rest, but it went to the other seat since the arm rests are shared. This is still fine, stuff happens, it could have an arrow or something, but it's fine. What I didn't enjoy was the employee who came to tell me treated me like I stole something and was rude and condescending about it. He was the same person who checked the ticket as I walked into the theater yet treated me like a snuck in or something. My biggest suggest would be training on how to handle and approach this situation, this has got to happen all the time because the seats are numbered ambiguously. I'm not leaving a terrible or low star review because it is still a good theater, it's one of my favorites to go to, but last night's experience was not their...
