The mango smoothie is terrible. The Biggest waste of money. We stopped for dinner tonight and after we left we were getting ready to get gas at the attached gas station (maybe that should have been a clue) and my wife realized they never gave us my smoothie. Even though we were the only customers in the store and there were two staff working.
My wife came back with it as I finished gassing up the vehicle and I asked if we had left it on the counter and she said “No, they never made it, and she seemed very put out that she had to make it now”. (30 minutes before close and no one else in the restaurant).
We drove to our nearby hotel, walked up the 3 flights of stairs and I eagerly sat down to enjoy my smoothie.
I just want to say I love smoothies, especially mango smoothies. And I’ve made good smoothies and I’ve made bad smoothies myself. So I can understand mistakes happen.
But this smoothie?
Hands down the worst smoothie I have ever had in 50 years. By a long shot. The only thing accurate is that it was “smooth”.
It tasted like someone took a single small piece of unripe mango, put it with a bunch of ice in a nice blender and spit it out.
It is terrible.
And for $7? What a joke (on the customer).
My Gyro is ok, nicely sealed at the edges if eating on the road.
Ode to Athens bowl is very good. Wife loved it.
Total for those 3 things though?
$36 with a $5 cash tip.
Don’t waste your money.

While still pricy for a sandwich ($14 and $12, respectively), we would give these newest sandwiches a 4.5 star. Both were good tasting and very filling. The cashier was friendly and welcoming. Nice experience again. We felt better eating here than a fast food burger place.
First time here. Heading back home from a fall color trip north and really happy we stopped. We were the only folks in the place about 7 pm on a Sunday. Staff was friendly and patient. There is a lot on the menu to read and the cashier explained all including the sauces (super important especially with kids to know what might be too spicy or which contain peanuts). Real nice touch. We went with Thai Budda Rice Bowl ($11), which is served on bed of brown rice and quinoa. I would have gotten the same but only enough rice at 7 pm for just one serving. Next time. So I instead ordered the Thai Chicken Regular Pita ($9.75), minus the sriracha. We also got a Berry smoothie ($5.50) and fountain drink ($2.50). It was a pricy stop ($30.48 for two people) but we felt it was a little healthier than the quick burger because the meals are served with lots of greens and other veggies. Smoothie was only so-so but we will chalk that up to new employee still leaning the job. Overall, pretty happy we stopped there and we plan to visit again next time we are headed...
Read moreThe biggest reason for my low review is due to customer service.
My husband and I both had bariatric surgery and are unable to consume more than 3 ounces. We we're attending a wedding and unfortunately didn't have any food prepped. We needed to eat and this was one of the healthiest/plain food options in the area. We are unable to consume the actual pita and simply wanted chicken with cheese. We asked the employee if we could order only chicken with melted cheese and we're told no. We asked if we could get a kids meal pita with chicken and cheese since it would be a smaller quantity. We provided a card our surgeon gives out explaining our restrictions and we were once again told no. The employee told us the only thing she could do was "allow" us to purchase the kids item at an adult full meal cost. Because we can't eat fast food we really didn't have an option so we ordered the full adult meal. We were given a pita from a plastic bag with about 2-3 oz of diced chicken and a little shredded cheese on top for almost $7 each.
While I fully understand that businesses don't make as much off kids meals, it's still an ordering option that we should be allowed to purchase. As a paying customer we should be allowed to choose the quantity of food we'd like. If this means wed like to choose a child's portion they should allow that.
Pita pit is the only business out of dozens that has given us any issues when ordering off the kids menu and allowing us to...
