Did I stumble into an outtake of Mean Girls?! I’m a middle-age lady who has taken clothes into PC plenty of times in the past with no problems. This time, however, things had DEFINITELY changed at this location. I brought in a tote full of clothes (didn’t expect to sell them all). They were all name brand, very clean, folded and nicely placed in clean tote. I work in government and my clothes are very well taken care of. I waited by the counter for 45 minutes until one girl finally decided to “look” at them...she literally picked up a piece and WITHOUT looking at it folded it in two and placed it on the counter and continued to do this with most of the rest of the clothes...not even a glance. The reason I know she did NOT look at any of the clothing was because the whole time she had her head turned talking with one of the other girls behind the counter about the date she had the night before which apparently didn’t go well. She finally got to the bottom and without pulling out the remaining clothes in the tote put everything back in there and said they couldn’t take them. I was astounded. I stood and watched her the whole entire time and not once did she look at the clothes she was fumbling through. I’ve been so many times I even had a PC Card that was punched each time you went in...but with this experience I don’t think I’ll be going in there to sell OR TO BUY anything else at this point. Management needs to address these girls and their absolutely...
Read moreI called because I was told that they buy denium. I was told over the phone $6-$10 a pair ($10+ if they are new and at least 15 pair that I had were new). So I took about 20 pairs of jeans off the hangers, folded them, drove them to the store to be told...we can't take anything in right now. I said I called an hour ago...before I went to the trouble of getting these here and I was not told anything like that. She told me that she could look up an offer...tomorrow. I said... to avoid a complete waste of my time, I would at least like to know what you pay for new Wrangler jeans. She asked the size and when I told her that most were 44x30, she said we don't take that size. She said they stop at 42. I explained that I was given completely different info over the phone. One young employee walked over to the area where the jeans are and came back to tell her that there was space for the jeans. She said she didn't have time, and people don't wear Wranglers. Another younger employee said...yes, they do. As this woman dismissed me, I asked her again to tell me how much they pay for jeans. She huffed and played with the register and said...maybe $3. What? I NEVER would have wasted my time and gas for $3 a pair. It was my first and last time in the store. I have told two people about my experience and they both said the place is a...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of shopping at Plato’s Clothing Store, and I can confidently say it was an outstanding experience! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the warm and friendly staff who made me feel right at home.
The store itself is beautifully organized, making it easy to find exactly what I was looking for. But what truly stood out was the incredible assistance I received from the staff. They were not only knowledgeable about the products but also genuinely invested in helping me find the perfect outfit. They took the time to understand my style preferences and offered fantastic suggestions that I wouldn’t have thought of on my own.
I also appreciated how attentive they were without being pushy, allowing me to browse at my own pace while still being available for questions or assistance whenever I needed it.
Overall, my visit to Plato’s was a delightful experience, and I left feeling not only with great new clothes but also with a smile on my face. I highly recommend this store to anyone looking for stylish clothing and exceptional customer service. I can’t...
