Crumbl — Restaurant in Trussville

I decided to join the hype train and had Crumbl Cookies delivered to my house for me and my friends to try.

I ordered all 6 cookies that were available to be delivered and as you can see I only received 5 out of the 6 with 1 being the exact same as the other. They never even contacted me to tell me they were out of the particular cookie I had asked for so I had no idea until I received and opened the box and got what I saw. So my experience was already starting out not so great. 0/10 on Customer Service.

So let's start with the Milk Chocolate Chip cookie. It was extremely dry the first bite I ran to grab a bottle of water I am not exaggerating. I was about to choke. Crumbl cookies is right. This thing I thought for sure I was about to die. It was dry and overly sweet. 1/10

The Mallow Sandwich ft. OREO was actually okay. Very soft cake like sandwich definitely got that and you can taste the Oreo. The filling however I wasn't a big fan of I'm not a marshmallow person but I eat it within reason. This I was hoping it would still give me that Oreo filling taste but it was only slightly there. The marshmallow overpowered it. 6/10

The Strawberry Crumb Cake is next... Oops I didn't receive it and didn't even get told it was unavailable or they had ran out. They just replaced it with another of the same cookie I already had and didn't even contact me to at least see which one I'd rather have 2 of. 0/10

The Nilla Bean Cupcake I did not get cupcake vibes from this at all. Once again just dry and tasteless and the icing on top was so packed with sugar my teeth started hurting. 1/10

This next one was a Cake Batter Blondie but this was a blondie I had never experienced before. Once again I didn't get any cake batter vibes off it and the sprinkles has a weird taste the cookie itself was actually decent but not enough for a high score. 2/10

Lastly we have the Hazelnut Sea Salt cookie. This was beyond tasteless you could barely taste the hazelnut all I got was the salt. Wasn't overly sweet though but still gets a low score. 1/10

My experience was such a huge let down and I shared these with two of my other friends who both did not like these cookies at all. From the horrible customer service all the way to the terrible products and lack of 1 product I didn't even receive. I will probably never try them again. I downed 3 bottles of water when I was trying these.

And I get it. A lot of you are going to hate and disagree with me for this review and that's 100% okay with me. This is simply me and my friends opinions. Not everyone has the same taste buds we are all different which is why I don't do reviews alone. I encourage you if you've never had Crumbl Cookies then please try them and if you have tried them and like them continue to enjoy them. This just wasn't for me.

UPDATE: I wanted to update everyone after the manager responded to my post which I'm sure is just some automatic AI, I did my part in contacting him like he asked and I have yet to be contacted its been 6 days. No refund offer or anything. It is all starting to make since from the other reviews where people have had the same issues I have had with the staff. If the manager doesn't care then why should...

Take you chances at purchasing on-line. I have been waiting for the return of the Key-Lime Pie Cookie since forever. I even set my calendar. Nevertheless, I ordered on-line with the only available pick-up they had for the day, which was 8:00-8:30 a.m. I arrived at 8:40 a.m. to only be told that the cookies did not set well and had to be made over. I was a little disappointed but just said, ok, I will return after work. That's when I was told there is no guarantee that I would get the cookies that I already paid for. Wait, what? All you have to do is put 3 in a box and put my name on it. Well, according to the Asst. Manager it doesn't work that way. It's a first come, first serve basis. News flash...I'm the first person in here! Nevertheless, there company does not recognize you placing an order, picking up an order, being told you aren't guarnteed an order even if it's not your fault that it wasn't ready. So.... if you want to take your chances, cross your fingers while doing so. Unless, you have someone on stand by to run in and out of the store all day. I wouldn't have given any stars on my review if I could have because there was no food for me to taste. The customer service was non-empathetic and me waisting gas and running late for work for no reason. I am a VERY disgruntled customer. I wish I could find another company that made a Key-Lime Pie...

Absolute worst customer service at this location. 11:15 in the morning and they were already out of a flavor. That was fine so I ordered a duplicate of another. After waiting the girl returns to the front to say they are out of a second flavor. So at this point I’d already paid for a 6 pack but I requested a refund of the 6 pack and I’d just purchase a 4 pack now instead. The lady said she didn’t know how to do that. Another employee approached and rudely said “what do you want?” Supposedly she refunded the 6 pack at that point but when I got back to the car the app still didn’t reflect the refund. I decided to go back in and ask for the paper receipt which she acted as was a huge inconvenience to print. Coincidentally when she printed it I got a confirmation at that point so I’m thinking she didn’t even really process the refund the first time. Aside of the employees’ behavior the store is absolutely filthy. I’ve never seen the condition of another Crumbl look this way. The floor was covered! Makes me concerned for the cleanliness of the prep area. Probably will skip this...
