What a joke of a store. Let's start with them not having hardly any iteams. Yes I no because of the rona times are hard so I keep shopping. Now on the door going in it says they are taking bottle returns took some in and the refuse to take them and very rude about it I might add. So blew that off in hopes that the items I have in my cart will do. Get up to the checkout and behold it dosent work AT ALL!....now getting frustrated the cashier rings my items up then we get to the alcohol. The cashier rings it up and asks for my ID well I'm 32 so no big deal I hand my ID over. the cashier now won't except my ID because its expired.....well Karen I've got a appointment to get a new ID but the sos is backed up and it takes time. (Also by the way it states on the sos websight that you have to take it because they existed the expired date) they refused and pretty much said its there way or the highway. So I don't know what going on with the management in this place and why they can't seem to follow the rules but unless they want a lawsuit which I would love to be apart of. They better talk to the employees and fill them in on what kind of trouble they could be in. That being said I will no longer shop there and I will make sure that everyone knows what they have done and will probably call my...
Read moreMy wife and I came to shop at 1030 am on a Thursday. We always pay attention to the ads and buy primarily what is on sale. This store seems to never have the items advertised on the shelf. We were looking to buy the on sale chicken breast but of course it wasn't there. A worker from The meat.department was stocking up so I respectively said, " This probably isn't your fault but where are the on sale chicken breast? This store seems to never have what's advertised in the flyer available." He said tell them at the check out and they would take care or it. I said thank you and moved on. We got 20 feet away and heard the main meat cutter who had come out say...then you should shop somewhere else and darted back into the back. So I took my half full cart and pushed it into the back where they cut they cut the meat and told them I will go somewhere else and to go F himself. we live 1 mile from this store but will now gladly travel 7 miles to the next nearest store. Not a Family Fare. I will NEVER go there again. I told a woman behind the courtesy counter but she wasn't a manager and could only apologize which is fine. Your store will no longer get my 200.dollars per week and I will discourage anyone from shopping there because of...
Read moreWow!! I'm standing in line at the liquor counter while the cashier is helping a customer. She finishes with the customer, doesn't say a word and walks away. She began helping a customer with self checkout, which I'm good with! I get it, there's only so many people in the store and she has to pull double duty.... say something!! If she would have let me know that she had to go and take care of that, no problem, but she didn't say a word, didn't ask me to wait or hang on just a second and she'd be back.... nothing.
It's a very simple thing to acknowledge someone. If they can't even do this right, what else can't they do right? Harder things like food safety, code dates on products, facility sanitation... if you can't even do the simple things well, why would I think you can do the hard things any better?
Come to find out this lady is a manager... way to set the tone for your employees. You're a small store, which means you don't have second chances, you can't afford bad customer service. I won't be back and it's too bad because you're the closest and most convenient grocery store to me, but I choose to spend my money where...
