I'm sure this is a great sports park and playground for kids, but I came to check out the walking trail... I'm house and pet sitting and I like to take the dogs I watch on "Adventures". Since I'm not from around here I rely on Google to find the good places for dog walking and still keep us both interested in the surroundings....this park hits the mark! I highly suggest going in the morning on weekdays before 8 am. It's quiet and you can see more wildlife around the lake. In fact the area had baby bunnies everywhere, which walking a dog can get distracting but fun. This would be a park I'd come back to. When parking all you will see is the playing field, take a path to get behind them and you will find the lake. We did the shorter loop which was just under a mile. Be aware bikes are also on part of this path, but I saw none when walking early in...

Slept here a couple nights during my first episode of schizophrenia. Some guy gave me a menthol and I waited out a huge thunderstorm shivering in a port-o-potty. God spoke to me through the lightning and rain, and I thought Joe Biden was going to send a helicopter to pick me up in the middle of the soccer fields. Telepathically communicated with the spirit of Dostoevsky while sitting under the hexagonal shelter. Had vivid, traumatizing visions of my father committing acts of extreme violence and ran laps around the park until I was completely exhausted, not having eaten in days. Eventually lifted a rain jacket and some trail mix from the Walgreens down the street, and nobody...

This park has nice open field, where you can play soccer, baseball, and any other sport or game. There is a playground and another space were you can do some pull ups and abdominal exercises. There is a nice bike path were you can also go and walk. Nice mini version of a forest preserve. There's a variety of birds and insects. There is also a small dock where you can go fishing. I'm not sure if there's any fish in the small lake. There is plenty of parking and handicapped space to park. I recomend talking a walk, run,...

This is a hidden gem and a multipurpose easily accessed Bloomingdale Park. There is a beautiful ecosystem surrounding a lake. The bathroom around the lake is part of the DuPage Page County Trail system. There’s fishing, bocce courts, frisbee golf, lots of baseball and soccer being played there in the spring, summer and fall many beautiful birds and just a great place to sit on a bench or be part of a walk or bike ride. See many dogs being walked.
