A Taste of Venezuela: Crispy Empanadas and Fresh Mango! I recently had the pleasure of dinining at carats and it was a delightful experience! As a fan of Venezuelan cuisine, I was particularly excited to try their empanadas, and they did not disappoint. We ordered a few different kinds, and each one was perfectly crispy and golden-brown on the outside, with flavorful, well-seasoned fillings on the inside. You could tell they were freshly made – just the right amount of crunch with every bite! To complement our empanadas, we also ordered a fresh mango juice. It was absolutely delicious – perfectly sweet, tangy, and incredibly refreshing. It tasted like pure, ripe mango, which is exactly what you want. Overall, carat is delivered a truly authentic and satisfying Venezuelan meal. If you're looking for fantastic, crispy empanadas and a wonderfully fresh mango juice, this is definitely the place to go! I can't wait to go back and try more...

This is one of the best Venezuelan food places that I have ever been, first Yvette welcomes you in such a way that makes you feel literally at home, with great kindness and affection, second the place is super nice, clean and cozy, and third the food is CRAZY, we ordered tequeños as a starter and with the picture that I put you can draw your own conclusions🤤, then we ordered gordon blue chicken empanadas, ground beef, trio and mechada, HOW CRAZY!! They were so crispy that I couldn't believe it and the flavor omg, DIVINE, if you are a lover of sauces, you will literally love them, I tried garlic sauce and another one that I don't know what it was, but it was amazing, and we had the passion fruit juice😱❤️, simply DIVINE EVERYTHING!!!! I would go back 100000%, I really love this...

We drove past on Lake Street and happened to notice their sign saying they were a Venezuelan restaurant. So of course we had to stop in and eat. We were told it was their opening day.

We ordered sweet plantains, a Cubano sandwich, a chicken empanada, and a chicken cordon bleu empanada. The empanadas are huge! They are stuffed with the most wonderful tasting chicken there is. Sauces to accompany the food were divine.

It's a fast-casual place, and the service was wonderful. The pride the owners showed in this new venture was demonstrated by the quality of the food they offered.
