I was disappointed with the whole process. I came in for my appointment and had asked to get a certain type of nail. Ann said that if I wanted that specific design I should have told her ahead of time. I understood, but how I was supposed to know that when I've never been there. I suggested another nail design and she said she could try to get it to be close to the nail design I wanted. Then she started doing my nails and immediately she started to call someone on the phone. I was getting stressed out because I couldn't tell Ann I was unhappy with what she was doing. She then calls a friend after the first call and talks with her the rest of the time. The topic of the conversation was incredibly unprofessional and made me incredibly uncomfortable. She never once stopped talking on the phone and asked me if I liked them or if I wanted her to fix anything. She was on that call the whole time, till it was time to pay. I'm very uncomfortable with confrontation and just wanted this experience to be over. She told me it was $73! My nails looked NOTHING like the picture and weren't even close. She said it was an ombre which it was not. I just paid and left. I was incredibly upset and the more I looked at them the more it upset me. I haven't had my nails done in a few years and was so excited to get them done again. I finally texted her and explained my dislike for the nails. That I'd like a refund as these nails weren't even close to what I had asked for. She told me she wouldn't refund for the work she had done and that she told me she couldn't do the nails like I had wanted, but tried to get them as close as possible. (She didn't) That she was off her phone when asking for payment and that if I didn't like them why didn't I say anything and also mentioned that I didn't tip her. No, I didn't tip because I hated them. I already felt incredibly disrespected cause she was on the phone the whole and never asked if I liked the nails or how it was going, and only got off when it was time to pay. She finally offered to give me a refund if she cut them off and filed down the "design". I got them off and got my money back. You can't tell me this is an experience with a customer you can...
Read moreLee got offended that I was asking questions about a service I have never done before. Saying she was “irritated” when I asked if she would file my nails down. I liked my nails but she was very unprofessional. Definitely just lost a potential customer. I’m pretty sure I’m never going back.
Edit: I didn’t ask for more than I booked. I scheduled a gel pedicure and dip powder nails. That’s exactly what I got. My questions had nothing to do with doubting or believing in her skills as a nail tech. As I’ve said before, I was just unfamiliar with the process with dip nails and didn’t once try to be disrespectful or in any way tell her what to do. The fact that she spoke another language is no excuse. My first language isn’t English either and I would never talk to...
Read moreI have been looking for a new nail artist for a while and I think I have found her. An was so lovely and knowledgeable about the products. She was able to explain the pros and cons of the different services. I loved how clean and tidy the salon was. She uses sanitized equipment and single use scrubbers on my feet. The salon is smaller and feels more calm and intimate than other salons I've been to in the area. Very happy this place is close to...
