I started just after high school thinking I knew what I wanted to do, but that came to a hault when many personal issues got in the way to where I did have unfortenatly quit and work fulltime to help out my family in their time of need. Family will always be #1 but my father has always wanted something better for me. I have completed esthetics school and I have my certificate but not my license. Then I couldn't find work in that field due to not being able to pass the state test. I gave it all I could and still nothing.. Then I thought why not just try something completely different and just go for it! Me being 29 years old I thought no.. I can't I am too old.. I'll never be able to balance my life now with school on top of that. Well I gave it a try! That's when I found Rasmussen College. I wanted to do Medical Billing & Coding. Throughout all the companies I have worked for I grew to love codes! Plus my personal knowledge and my esthetics background the medical field just felt right. I began my research and put my information out there to see who would be willing to help me out. Rasmussen was the first college to reach out to me. Mona with Rasmussen has been so helpful and my advisor Melanie has been so helpful as well. Everyone with the financial aid team as well has just been so nice to speak with too! Now my previous college experience I had my mom helping me with tuition and loans, but this time I went forth and did it all on my own. Which is something I have never done or really been able to understand. The point I am trying to make here is that it is never too late to further your education even if its just a certificate and you don't move forward with an associates degree or a bachelors. It just feels good to acomplish something for yourself and everyone I have worked with at Rasmussen College helped me make it possible! I will forever be grateful to the ones who have helped me achive something I never thought I could. They believed in me when I didn't. Believe you can do it...
Read moreHi, doy name is Bryan not tim. I did that for personal reasons. But anyways just to start with a little back story how I got herd and how Rasmussen university and Stephanie fox went above and beyond in their job duties to really make going back to school to better my life a reality, so I'm in recovery, I had a hard life due to bad decisions on my part. But life smacked me in the face hard and showed me what life means and what I really wanted out life. So I want to help others who are beginning to go down the same street I did. So I decided I want to a peer advisor. So I needed to go back to school and when I started looking, Stephanie fox was there the whole way through and not judging me and really there to make this happen and down to Rasmussen higher ups for listening to Stephanie fox when she went to bad for me to get my financial aid pushed through. All I can say is that if your trying to find a school who will be there to really care and guide you through every step you will not go wrong with this school, hands down the they are the best I've ever dealt with in my situation. Thanks to Stephanie fox and...
Read moreI am in shock. I haven’t been to school in 20 years and I thought it was going to be this drawn out process and it wasn’t. Completed all requirements within 2 days. The Admissions Advisor Jimmy Sorrels was amazing and walked me through everything step by step. He made sure I was able to access all the forms needed to apply and provided me with resources to help in the process as well. I have to give him 5⭐️ for his help. As for Rasmussen itself, I have to say that they make it easy for people to return to school for higher education. I was very hesitant because I didn't know much about the college and the online classes offered. After looking into the school and the programs they offer at the price they offer, It’s a perfect fit for me. I recommend that anyone who’s on the fence about which school to select,...
