Cinnaholic — Restaurant in Boca Raton

We decided to stop in on a whim since we were in the area and thought some dessert would be appealing. When we first arrived, there was no one in the front of the store, but after a minute or two of us looking at the sweets on display, someone came out and happily served us. The system of choosing your favorite toppings and/or selecting from the popular favorites was very smart, appealing to those who like the adventure of choosing their own options and also to those who like the comfort of having it all spelled out for them. We tried three of the options on display. While they were all quite tasty in their own right, the telltale signs of vegan products were all there. Had they not been smothered in a plethora of distracting toppings, the apparent nuances in taste of the cinnamon rolls versus the "real thing" would be even more noticeable. I have not found a vegan baked good yet that didn't have the feeling of something missing whether it be in taste or texture, and Cinnaholic was no different. The S'mores and "Late Night" flavor combinations were delicious at first bite, but quickly were overpowering and sweet on the palate and became decreasing interesting. I also enjoyed some aspects of the "Mary Poppins Returns," but the one made for us could have used more fruit in my opinion and had a very distinct aftertaste of PAM, or some other butter substitute. All in all, I thought that it was a neat idea for those with dietary restrictions or with other personal reasons for choosing vegan and/or kosher products to have an option that comes somewhat close to the real thing, but for folks like myself without such issues, I'd prefer this type of system used with a good old fashioned cinnamon roll made the way they...

I visited this particular location after driving for four hours and ordered 2 cinnamon rolls. When we received them, they weren’t fresh as they usually always are, so I kindly asked that they replace them after taking one bite out of each cinnamon roll. The young Spanish man at the register literally told me that I was lying. He told me he knew they were fresh despite me telling him no they weren’t. So he called the owner, who only speaks Spanish ( I speak Spanish as well, however I didn’t tell him this because I wanted to hear what he was saying) and told her that they were fresh and that I basically was lying. I was really disappointed with the service not because they weren’t fresh ( I own a business as well and sometimes the food isn’t always what it should be ) but because he told me that he knew they were fresh and that he wouldn’t do anything about it and that the owner and her daughter also said NO they weren’t refunding or exchanging my two items. So then I told him that I’m a social media influencer and that I review vegan shops …. then I gave him my TikTok which he sent to his boss, at that point he offered me a free cinnamon roll, which actually made me even more upset because if I was just a regular customer nothing would’ve happened. To the owners, when you read this, next time do better. Explain to your workers, In business, nothing is personal. Whenever I’m in South Florida, I look forward to coming and getting a vegan cinnamon roll from Cinnaholic, thankfully I usually go to the Coral Springs location, but they are temporarily closed.

I ordered four cinnamon rolls through Uber Eats, and three of the four cinnamon rolls came made wrong. I called to complain, and to try and get a partial refund and the “manager” Told me that she made my order and that I was wrong, that the order wasn’t missing half of the things on it.

I hung up the phone and went to make a claim through Uber, who would not give me back my money, And as my friends were looking through their orders, they noticed that their orders were wrong too. I called back again to see if there was a way that they could get my money back to me, now that More than half of the order was wrong, And the “manager” Who made my order Asked me “ Why I was lying to her face”.

I would rather never have another cinnamon roll ever in my whole life then give this location another dollar of my money.

Order 1 - missing and raspberries, brownie bites are rock hard and disgusting. Roll is either stale or overcooked. Should not have had chocolate chips, should have had chocolate syrup. Should not have had raspberry syrup.

Order 2 - should have been peanut butter frosting and not peanut butter cups, my boyfriend doesn’t like chocolate.
