Awesome Diecast, LLC — Local services in Boca Raton

So I heard of this place from an ad on Facebook (one of the few times I actually didn’t mind an ad) and wanted to check them out. I live about 2 hours away so it was hard to find time to make it there. Was finally able to and was glad I did. The selection of models was fantastic! I’ve had my eye on the iScale Mercedes SL as pictured. I wasn’t able to inspect it in person but I should have looked up reviews and would have seen it isn’t the best. For the record I’m NOT blaming the shop for the model, it was my own fault. But it does have some defects that I have learned are normal on other iScale SL models. Mainly just paint defects, nothing major but still, for the price point it should be better. Next time I’ll be getting the SL from Norev they have there. However, I was able to find a cool Nissan R33 400R 1/64 scale model. I’m a fan of the 400R and didn’t know there was a midnight purple highly detailed 1/64 model. So I’m delighted on finding it! As far as the shop itself, well worth the 2 hour drive. I do want to reiterate, the quality of the yellow SL is no fault of the shop, just a characteristic of that brand from the few review videos I watched after buying. I’m just a fan of the SL so I wanted it, but should have got the Norev 90’s SL for basically the same price point and better quality. But overall, model is okay. But I definitely plan on making it back out there again. David, the sales person who helped me, was great. He did mention they are planning or already are, to be open the first Saturday of the month, which would make it much easier for me to make it down there since I work all week. The biggest thing I enjoyed about the shop, was being able to visually see all the 1/64 models in person. I’ve ordered from awesome diecast before and now that they have a store that you can visit I went there today and didn’t want to leave. They have the greatest selection of models of all scales. I went in for my purchase and walked out with more. It’s like being in heaven once you see the selection they have. It’s not just the awesome items they have but more importantly the customer service was just as awesome! They waited after hours for me to get there from work and treated me like family. I highly recommend stopping by and checking out the showroom as you will definitely be walking out with your hands full. I can’t explain how cool this place is and how friendly they are. I will be stopping by every week to continue my collection. They have everything you need and also do custom work if you’re looking to put your logo on an item. This place is incredible! If you’re local I highly recommend paying them a visit. And when you do I’ll probably be in there too lol. When I tell you they have everything they have everything and if not they will order it for you. Great prices and friendly staff. You couldn’t ask for anything else. This will be my new weekly stop. I can’t wait to go back as there is so much more I plan on getting. Plus there’s so much I didn’t see on the website but when I got there I didn’t wanna leave. It’s probably good that I did because I would’ve spent a fortune. Please check them out if you’re in the neighborhood. Edit: No, you deserve a one star review. No one greeted us when we walked in, no one helped us, you were busy blabbing away to a customer in your little back office. It's absolutely ridiculous to advertise buying and trading unless we have "50 of them". And none of your inventory has moved since we were there a month ago. Bad business and blew a sale.

First trip was nice. Guy says he buys sells and trades for better deals sometimes. We brought in a few cyber trucks because he told us he sells them all day long for $40 a piece. When we inquired about trading he interrupted me and said "I don't trade hotwheels for hotwheels" when that's not even what we wanted. We came with a few hot wheels hoping to barter a better price for a 1:18 model but he refused to even offer a price or look at any of our items because we didn't have "50 of them".
