My friend and I went to Office Depot in Bocca Raton this evening to print copies of our literary for our trip to Columbia. What should have been an easy task turned into a not so great experience. My friend and I were trying to print and we're unable to pull the documents up on the printer. We tried for about 10 minutes. We followed all of the directions for the process of emailing to officedepot. After about 10 minutes, I went to ask for assistance. Adriel was helping someone, so I asked the assistant manager who was not helping anyone. Those man never made eye contact with me. He spouted off directions. I explained that we had tried this and we were not able to get the documents to print. I asked of he would come over and help us. He pointed at Adriel and said he could help us. At this time Adriel had just finished with another customer. I explained the problem and he started ro give the same directions. I explained we needed someone to walk over to the printer to help us. He came over to help. He couldn't figure out why it wasn't working at first. He spent about 15 min trying to get it to pull up do it would print. He was sooooo very helpful. Explained how much we appreciated him, thanked him, and let him know the customer service he provided was top level.
On the way out, asked to speak to the Manager. Rob the Manager came and spoke with us. He was very attentive and listened to our concerns. He provided valuable feedback on the store. We explained how Adriel was so very helpful. Also, how the Assistant Manager was not helpful at all. Rob ensured that we knew that our concerns were being heard and would be addressed. Sutton as well as Melissa I believe were phenomenal with there help and work ethic. but for THIS STORE in Boca Raton store was terrible. Worst experience I have ever had. Printing manger was rude. Terrible. When I asked to speak to a manger at checkout I was told to “go look for him in the back “ and then when asking again at the printing service desk the worker shrugged his shoulders and told me to speak to the printing manager who was the entire issue. This was one of my most terrible experiences and I will never go to this Office Depot. I would recommend for everyone to go to any other store other then the ones within Boca Raton. Terrible service, rude employees who are just lazy. I have never went inside a store just to be told to use the online checkout instead. The whole entire point of me coming into the store is so I don’t have to do it online. Not to mention the site had “technical errors” on this day. I arrived at 1:00pm in hope to get my print job the same day. I only left after two where as there was no way that my print job would be done the same day in any Office Depot anymore .This is terrible and not the correct way to run any business. Personally my day was ruined with there disrespectful lazy attitude. After waiting an hour for my print job that I came into store for due to the fact the online was not working i was told that I should bring a flash drive. After an hour. Not 10 or 20 minutes. 1 hour. Within this hour I was told to try a million things online which I did and it didn’t work as I explained to them as I walked In but they said to “try anyways”. Read moreJust returned from this store and was very very disappointed that I went to 2 different locations in order to buy this printer that I saw online for the $399 price. Now, with that being said, when I arrived at the East Boca Raton store, (#4) the nice sales associate looked for the printer and after I showed him the difference in price from what I had on my phone (picture like the one attached) and what I saw was listed on display, he went on to let me know that he would honor the price online. At the register a Sales Manager came over (didn't get his name but got his DM name-Tom Merriman to reach out to him) and somewhat argued with me telling me that what I had was an "old ad" (like 10 x he said this) I went on to point out to him that even the "July 4th notice of change of hours" was noted on the ad and that it wasn't an old ad and that the site even told me how many they had in their inventory. I also mentioned to him that this was a mistake on Office Depot part and that they needed to update all of their advertisements on the internet and that it wasn't my problem. He went on to tell me that "this was from Google and that it wasn't his problem either" which I thought was very unprofessional and rude to say the least. I asked if he would honor the price because it is what made me come into the store, and he point blank told me that he absolutely would not! I only bought the printer because mine broke 4 hours before and I have an important project due tomorrow and the stores were closing within the next 45 minutes so I was left with no choice.
