I am new to Bonham, didn't know a lot of people. My friend Barbara Hope, inspired me to go. I did, even though I didn't know how to paint. I believe that as in music, art, photography, gardening, we all have talent. It takes a teacher to open us up and realize our talents. For me, it was taking me out of myself and saying as a disabled person..oh will try. In the class, my disability was nonexistent. I thank God and Creative Arts and others that believe in me. I was not sure if my body parts would work, but they did, at that class. I almost was afraid to go because I didn't want people to see my disability.
