We are hyper aware of how the other dogs and their owners at the dog park act and have turned around when we saw that a dog park had a bad vibe with dogs fighting and owners not doing anything about it. We’ve been lucky so far. Sure, they pick up viruses from the dog park, but the benefit of our high energy dog getting to run around and play with other dogs outweighs the risks. It would be great if we had more areas around us where Blitzen could go off-leash but sadly that is not the case. #dogmom #dogdad #gspoftheday #germanshorthairedpointer

Went there today to check it out! Easy to find. Parking you do have to walk a little bit to get to the entrance of the dog park. Right at the entrance there are rules for the park. As you enter it is double gated. The first gate has its latch, the second one doesn't. As I was entering with my dog, a smaller dog went right under the gate to greet mine while we were still entering. There is some seating inside and outside the park to enjoy some time to talk with others. There is no agility equipment for dogs, but some of the tree roots and trees that have gone over make up for that. There is a decent size area where you can play ball with your dog in. Oh and if you are looking to teach your dog to go hiking with you on trails, the trails around the park are perfect for that. Lots of logs to go over, hills to go up and down, even some strep stairs. There was also water and water dishes available for dogs while they played. It is also very well shaded that you don't have to worry about how long you stay there. People that might have a mobile disability this might be a park not to visit as there is a bunch of terrain. All people and their dogs were all really nice and friendly.

This is a really great park. My dogs love it everytime we come here. It's a wooded park that has a bench and two tables for sitting on your phone while the dogs play....haha but really we all know that we do. For those of you that don't want to just sit there is a short little trail that goes around the park, not much but if you want to take your dog to the woods this place works too. There are lots of little trails that lead back to the main trail that my dogs just had a blast running through. There are a few cool hidden treasures here too, just open your eyes to find them.

Best off leash dog park ever. All fenced in so the doggos can't escape. Have a water pump with a bucket and a water bowl for the doggos to drink their water. Huge area, when you first walk in, huge open space woth a couple benchs to sit at and all the dogs to play near by. Then has a huge forest area with some trails for the dogs to explore by themselves perfectly fine or you can walk with them around the forest area. Lots of doggy-poopy bags and a couple trash cans to clean up their business. Lots of people leave their tennis balls or some other toys they can chew up, or lots of sticks of course they love to play with or chew up 😅 Everyone i meet there is SUPER friendly and my fur-babies have made so many friends there. It's super cool when people there remember you and your puppers! 😋🐕🐩🐶🐺💕 highly reccomended for all dogs, well-behaved, or still puppys who need some training. Everyones super friendly and will not judge your dog and will help if anything. No dog discrimination for as long as I have...

The area is great (except that while there is close parking, there isn't any parking to keep your car in sight). It was very quiet. We're obviously not from the area, but we were driving with our dog, hoping to let her go on a potty break. She didn't go, but she's a rescue who has trouble going potty in places that she's unfamiliar with. We were excited to see the community has toys there, but they were almost all caked in dirt and definitely soaked. I was a little worried they could be harboring mold in the stuffing, and we've had a situation a few years ago where our pup accidentally ate mold/moss and got really sick, so we didn't play any impromptu catch with her. She definitely was excited, and if we lived near there, we'd surely go back, but if we were an integral part of the community, we would come up with a healthier way to store the...
