Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Bonney Lake

My husband and I stopped coming to this Dairy Queen even though it was the closest one to us because of an experience we had ordering blizzards. We both order an extra scoop of candy in our blizzards because we like them packed. On a previous occasion he ordered a medium blizzard with 2 scoops of extra candy. What he got was a blizzard that looked as though it barely had 1 scoop and of the wrong candy. We called to complain and were told we would get a free medium blizzard the next time we came in. Next time we went, because we could not remember the name of the person who promised the free blizzard we were treated as though we were trying to pull a fast one and were “granted” a free mini and told it was the only time that would happen. Recently I decided to give them another chance. I ordered a small s’mores blizzard with extra chocolate pieces. I wish I could attach the photos I took to this post to show just how little candy was in the treat. I was able to count 7 chocolate fragments in the entirety of the blizzard. When I pay for a thing - in this case extra candy in the blizzard - I expect to receive it. These two incidences are not isolated happening many times before. Do yourself a favor and never eat at this location. The staff is very slow and rude. We stood in front of the register for over 5 minutes before they acknowledged us and took our order. The food takes forever to come out which is bad enough but to make matters worse, it comes out cold and disgusting.

I brought my girlfriend and her 2 daughters here for dinner during the prime time dinner rush and our food was stone cold. How can you possibly have room temperature fries during the dinner rush? Also, how can you possibly serve cold fries that are either hard as a rock or soggy? That's beyond pathetic and unacceptable.

3 of us had a 3 piece chicken strip basket and all of the strips were room temperature. They were not fresh and didn't even seem like they were cooked that day. The breading was tough and not crunchy at all like it should be. The meat was dry and tough. The gravy was the only thing that was hot and it was not enough to save the chicken or the fries.

1 person ordered a cheeseburger which was also room temperature.

The standard for "passable food" at this location is downright embarrassing and it should be considered theft to charge customers for old, cold garbage.

Definitely will never be returning to...

Bonny lake DQ i never been to the town let alone ate there .but icecream 🍦 is a weakness of mine,and that day was hot . I got there there was three people in line she took there orders when i got to the window she said i will be right with you ,i said okay well she was busy for about 12 mins and i still didnt get my order taken i on my lunch break super hot and needing my cup well . I got it. So i spent less then 10 bucks but seen her workin hard gave her a 20.00 bucks and told her to put the rest in her tip cup . But that my point i was nice and my order got messed ul i get it i make mistakes at times ... but thats my only experience...
