There's a handful of providers that come into your life and enriches it in so many ways either than just what they have to do. Darshi, was one of those in my physical therapy journey. She's a wonderful physical therapist, whom I'm so grateful for. Her and the entire team are amazing! Thank you Bay State Physical Therapy @ Dimock Center 🌺 I got gifts too 🥰

Ms Darshi was marvelous. She was caring and patient. I will be taking home a whole lot of Bay State Physical Therapy knowledge home with me. And thank you to the whole team

On Thursday, October 3, I was discharged from Physical Therapy, YAY! It was a very long road!! 11 months of PT and October (2023) being 1 year from the cause of my issue, a pinched nerve in my neck. This lead to neck pain, arm & shoulder pain, muscle spasms, and extremely tight muscles in my upper back.

Darshi, my Physical Therapist, told me it would be a long haul. I wasn't able to use my left arm, period. I couldn't move my arm more than 20° from my body. That meant, getting dressed was an issue, putting on deodorant, opening the drawer where I kept my cutlery, all basic things and until this pinched nerve, things I took for granted.

Well, my PT sessions started and I'm not gonna lie, it was very hard in the beginning. I have a low tolerance to pain and I'd be the 1st to tell you, I'm a baby when I get sick, but this, this was something else. I knew I didn't want to live with this issue and just suck it up, I needed to work through it and commit to getting better. And, I believe for me, Darshi was the right physical therapist.

Darshi was "hard" on me when she knew I could do more, when I complained that it hurt, and it did, a lot. But, she also encouraged me to keep up the good work and used multiple tactics to highlight my progress and keep me motivated.

One part of my treatment plan was dry needling. Darshi kept bringing it up, repeatedly, and I Googled it and knew that I was "NOT" going to like it!!! And, I was RIGHT!!! I HATED every single session, I believe I had 4 sessions, in all. Darshi will tell you that it hurts her too to have to administer this treatment, but only one of us has a "needle" palpitating a muscle, and when she gets the trigger response she says, and I quote "We've hit the lottery"! LOL. I can laugh now, but at the time I was crying... And, I can't believe I'm going to say this, but as much as I HATED this treatment, I can honestly say that it helped to relax my extremely tight muscles! Score 1 for Darshi. 😁

I would like to thank Darshi, and the team at Bay State Physical Therapy, Dimock St, for where I am today. You pushed and encouraged me and gave me the tools needed to continue down the path to wellness. THANK YOU, I couldn't have done it without you! (Well, maybe without the dry needling)....

This place is the real deal! Don't think that because they are able to offer their services to a mostly lower income population, are all bilingual (some are also trilingual), and actually listen to your concerns before deciding a plan of action that somehow they aren't world class.

After over 20 years of running marathons I had developed nagging, chronic injuries that contributed to newer injuries and I began to give up hope I would ever be able to run a sub 3:00 for my last World Major Marathon (Tokyo 2020). The Dimock Center Bay State physical therapists gave me exercises, stretches, and fantastic advice. I quickly healed, began to ramp up serious training, and have been injury free every since. Unfortunately Tokyo 2020 was cancelled or I would have waited to give this review because I am all but certain at 46 years old I would have run a Personal Record. The Tokyo 2020 Marathon cancellation would be more disappointing if I felt this was just a fluke training regimen that got me into excellent shape however now that I have the tools and knowhow given to me I absolutely believe I can only get faster (again, at 46 years old and I've run multiple sub 3:00 marathons since 1998)!

If you can't tell already,.. I can't recommend this place enough! If you think your training requires a high end boutique therapist to get you to the next level of injury-free training/competition please first check...

My experience at the Bay State Physical Therapy, at Dimock st, was great. My treatment lasted for about four months, and everyone there was pleasant and professional. First, I was welcomed by Jocelyn, who accepted my Doctor's referral and got me registered. The registration was smooth because she explained every forms I had to complete and scheduled my appointments. My first appointment was with Ken and Li-han, they went through with all my concerns and physical disabilities, and came up with a treatment plan. My subsequent appointments were with Li-han supervised by Darshi until he had to go back to school. Then the rest of the team, Darshi, Tiriisiani, Ken and Sarah made sure that I followed the treatment plan and came out much improved than when I started. The environment is very clean with a soft cozy music in the background and their equipments were well maintained and sanitized with every use. I am pleasantly pleased with my treatment at this facility, and if opportuned, I will love to use them again, and I will willingly refer anyone I know. I thank all the staff at this facility, and wish them well. With...
