They have done an amazing job on the renovations, absolutely beautiful. A must see for historical value even if your heart's not into Catholicism, Farther Kevin and his team hit a home run with this Boston Treasure! I have been to Rome and seen many churches as well as the Vatican, I visited The Cathedral of Notrudam in France and the Holy Cross Cathedral all though smaller still a sight to see. Who knows it might just warm your heart a bit?

Father David Taurasi holds traditional Tridentine Latin mass as though it were his first and his last. Sermons are brilliant, educational, mesmerizing and inspiring. Gregorian chants add to the reverence of the mass. It is held in the beautiful downstairs chapel of the Cathedral. Not to be missed! Every Sunday at 10 am, follow path by Our Lady’s statue in the garden on left of Cathedral. Path leads down to lower level’s doors.

The Catholic Church, in Boston, MA, has saved my life, many times, by providing, warm shelter, food bank, hot foods, and financial assistance. The holidays, were beautiful, again. I, consider the Catholic Church, of Boston, MA, a miracle, resource, and always enjoy, the friendly conversations, from clergy, working on site. Bayo

I was amazed to see that Boston has such a great cathedral! Built in 1875, it's not widely known neither located in a key area of the city. It's even hard to find any mentions of this church in guidebooks. However, it's a truly beautiful church - one of those that can trigger a mystic experience while you stroll inside.

During a business trip,, I paid a visit to Boston's historic cathedral and visited the adoration chapel during lunchtime. Beautiful architecture and high altar. The only thing that could make it better, would be to remove the table in front of the altar and restore the communion rail.

Description
The Cathedral of the Holy Cross is the cathedral of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Boston and is the largest Roman Catholic church in New England. When construction was finished, the cathedral rivaled both Old South Church and Trinity Church in grandeur.
