I made a Too Good To Go (tgtg) order at C-mart. Over half of the items I received have gone moldy, some of them entirely slimy. I tried to speak with the staff to have the bad items exchanged but he refused saying I didn’t pay much for the tgtg order anyway. The problem is the rotten items cannot be consumed and have zero value. The store should be responsible for the food safety of the their products even if they’re selling at below their retail values.

I have been shopping here for many years. Same convenience, good collection of Chinese groceries, vegetables, fresh fish, seafood, meat, etc. , the same mess and crowds and the same hardworking people. They also make extra parking lot available during weekends right next to the main parking lot and it is always convenient to park and shop there.

Still the best Chinese grocery store in Boston, always has great produce, and a huge selection of teas. I do not lie the whole range of snacks is always my weakness. Checkout and service has always been great. Not to mention having your own customer park lot in the city always makes going a breeze.

If you're a Chinese individual I'm sure it's a great place! But if you're disabled you're American and you can't speak a word of Chinese it's probably not a good idea to shop there because you will get ran over they run they hustle they cut each other off! I received a gift card for Christmas to shop there and it was an experience I'll never forget! There are no mannerisms when people are shopping there at all! It is a far cry from shopping at an American supermarket! It was The learning experience for me because when I tried to ask one of the people that work there where is a certain item they just looked at me because nobody spoke English except one person I finally found! I spent $20 there got out of there as quick as possible and I had $5 left over on my card which I gave to a Chinese individual person at a bus stop and told him they can have what was left on the card and they understood it and thanked me! If you don't know where you're going in this place it is a nightmare because nobody knows English and you don't know Chinese so you just have to look around and try to Dodge carts at the same time as people are cutting you off! I'm sure it's great if you're Chinese or you can speak the language but for me I'd rather not experience it again! I'll stick with American or Mexican Supermarkets! And of course I was looked at kind of strangely because I'm sure they figured out I wasn't Chinese! It was like going to a Black Friday sale at a supermarket! The good part was I found some silverware I could buy and this thing called Chinese pudding which tastes like jello to me with fruit in it it was good but I can tell you this, I won't be back there to get more of this pudding I'll get...

After several times of unpleasant shopping experiences there for the past a few years, I think I have to say something about the rudeness from quite a few workers there. Today was related to a male worker in the vegetable department who had been using very rude words to insult me!!! But when I tried to find a manager or boss to talk about this, I could not get help from either of them because I was told they were not in the store today only one clerk came out from 'the manager room' to listen to me a little bit but she told me she was not the manager there. Of course I would like to appreciate her time with me today. When I was there, other clients also told me some of the workers there were really rude to customers OFTEN. Set an example, if you are standing somewhere to look for something, and some worker would like to pass you, then he/she would not say 'excuse me', instead they would use very rude words and inappropriate attitude to clients and so on. We all know customers shopping there are not just for food, they are also for good customer service and happy shopping experiences. I did not give one ⭐ rate but a three instead because this market has good groceries with reasonable price and also most workers are generally nice!!! But customers need basic respect and bad service quality from some of the workers would bring bad reputation to the market!!! I respect every single human being's hard...

Worst experience and first time coming here. They seem to not value customers at all and genuinely do not care about how they are running their store. One car was blocking one side of the exits and was not moving, so I had to drive in through the other way and it was cramped! When I parked an employee came out and started yelling at me in what I assume is Cantonese. I could not understand what he was berating me about but he kept yelling at me to turn, so I went back in my car to readjust. I started getting frustrated because the employee kept flailing his arms when I tried reparking so I could not tell what he was asking me to do. What was even worse was that I did not know where to park because of the snow on the floor! It was even more frustrating because one car was parked CROOKED and I assumed they did not do anything, and it seemed unfair that they are yelling at my parking. I asked him to do something about the car that was blocking one of the exits, but he dismissed that and kept screaming at me in Cantonese. I decided that if they were going to treat customers like this and disregard any issues then it is not worth shopping here. So I got back in my car and left without even stepping...
