I went to this place last month by recommendation from my bff. My bff had made an appointment for me, 3 weeks in advance with Bere. When I got there I was seated right away. Bere barely covered me with a plastic instead of a cape. Didn't clean me if bleach fell on my neck or arms. No attention to detail. Left bleach on my hair for an hour and a half without checking me. By 35 minutes my hair was already very light. As a professional she is supposed to check on my hair every few minutes to check how light is getting. She kept taking walk-ins one after the other without taking priority on me, (having made an appointment). I kept texting my bff telling her that the bleach has been on my hair for too long. When she finally came up to me, I thought she was going to wash my hair but no, she added bleach to my roots very sloppy and added bleach on the back of my neck that caused me to end up at urgent Care with a swollen neck and ended on steroids due to that, to which they didn't want to take the blame, the owner blamed the product not the hairdresser who's her lover. When they were washing my hair, Bere kept telling me that I needed to do a lot of treatments on my hair (she knew she had screwed up my hair). She did a bad haircut on me and then blow dried my hair and told me that she couldn't iron it cause it would destroy my hair, No Bere YOU destroyed my hair, you were just trying to cover up what you did and you know that you did a very irresponsible thing. She stained my dress due to not covering me properly and Gaby (the owner) blamed the poor lady from the washing station when I went in to the salon three days later because my hair had major breakage, over processed and was fried. My husband and I tried to speak with the owner but she is so unprofessional. She told me that I came in with already damaged hair, not true, and I showed her pictures from days before to which she told me that she couldn't trust my pictures because they could be altered (like photoshopped), seriously?. If that was the case, Bere as a "very experienced professional" would've advised me not to go that light (icy blonde) and would've recommended me something, but no, she didn't. I hadn't dyed my hair in 4 years and I have natural coarse hair. I barely do heat on my hair and my hair was very strong and healthy. I asked for a receipt and she refused because we paid in cash. I paid $315 dollars to have my hair ruined. I didn't pay with card because Bere said I would be charged an extra $18. A true business owner and professional would've examined my hair and given me a full refund, no questions asked, isn't the customer always right?. Gaby if you want to give your customers a better service, don't mix your love life with your business, don't cover for your lover, because you'll end up with less customers, like myself, my bff and her sister. This whole thing has affected me, physically and emotionally. I almost shaved my hair off. People, stay away from this place, take your hard earned money and go to true professionals. If you take the risk and go to this place, ask for a receipt no matter how you pay, is your right...
Read moreMy family and I had such a bad experience at this hair salon. Weeks prior to my sister and I's quinceanera (we are twins) we made an appointment based on recommendations with Gaby. We were very excited to get our hair done here since the work seemed so good through pictures. My mother got her hair done by a girl whose name is Bea (I believe) which came out wonderful. I also got my hair done and styled by Bea which came out perfect. However, my twin sister had three different girls do her hair. One girl blowed dried her hair who could barely hold the blow dryer correctly and another girl who styled her hair. She was doing an awful job and was struggling to create the hairstyle on her. My mother and I were worried about how it was coming out because it was nothing like the way my hair came out so we tried to tell the lady who was struggling to fix it. The lady was unable to fix the hair so Bea who styled my hair, came over to continue to finish my sisters and tried her best. Once it was paying time we told Gaby we were unhappy with the way things turned out because my sisters hair was not perfect for our big, special day. Gaby said she felt extremely bad and would not be able sleep at night if we left unhappy, which sounded insincere. The only girl who was helpful and kind to us was Bea because she truly cared and tried her best. I would not recommend Gaby's Beauty Salon because it was unprofessional and we were not pleased with the...
Read moreWow does not do this salon justice! I have been trying to achieve this beautiful cold color blonde for the past 5 years. I've gone to several hair salons, spend thousands of dollars and never achieved the results I wanted. Every single time it was brassy with a reddish undertone and they would tell me it would take several colorings to get it the color I wanted. I always left disappointed. The Universe must have been listening to me complain because I was due for another color and dreading going back to my usual salons to be disappointed and waste money. That same day I saw Gabby's advertisement on Facebook and was completely blown away by her before and after results. It was exactly what I wanted and I did not hesitate to message her for an appointment. She got me in a few days later and when I say I've never been happier when my color in my entire life I am not joking. The color is absolutely gorgeous everything I've always wanted and more, she took the time to process it, didn't rush treated it without asking so it was nice and soft, and blow dry it absolutely beautifully. No one has ever done my hair color so well, I am completely blown away by her talent! Thank you so much Gaby, where have you been all my life I'm so glad I finally found you. Very very happy customer! Don't wait go now! You will leave there feeling 10 times more beautiful than...
