La Gran Manzana — Restaurant in Boston

Where to begin with this mess of a “restaurant”? I walked in with my boyfriend and notice that the place is almost empty. It is also really dark and I can tell that this place has more of a Friday night bar kind of feel. Nevertheless I give it the benefit of the doubt since I was not looking for anything fancy. We ordered food and waited for 40 minutes, the waitress didn’t come to check in between and there are only 2 other people in the restaurant. I go up to talk to her and tell her that we have to leave soon because we were going to watch a movie, she says the food is coming out. 5 minutes go by and I ask again and I tell them that I didn’t expect to wait so long since then restaurant is empty. Then I notice that there is only ONE cook in the back and they have 5 waitresses just standing around. When the food came out it was nothing complicated. It was tasty but nothing worth waiting so long for. To make matters worse the manager told me she would help us a little bit with the bill due to the poor service and when we went to pay I noticed nothing was done. Unless you want to go to a trashy bar on a Friday night I would not recommend going here. Maybe they should hire more cooks and have less waitresses just standing...

Great place first time there, went early Saturday so i have a good sit place after 11 that place is full,. Everything when well, UNTIL, the waitress our waitress got distracted to probably her man because she just loss control of her customers,. Was the last call we ask for the recipe took us more that 15 minutes waiting when she decided to take it we ending paying another customer bill them she try to fix it, ending using our card twice so my card got blocked of curse it was a mess,. The owner was screaming to everyone get out of that place because the cops was outside at 2a.m. anyhow very bad ending night. Please may sure your waitress star getting those bill before 1:30 so customers get out exactly at 2a.m. and when the waitress's man decided to visit them, to wait for them outside or let them do her job without distraction. Me and my wife had lunch there 3 weeks ago , it was the next day of their re opening, worst experience in a restaurant ever in my whole life, the host on his cellphone told us “just go ahead and sit anywhere” we grabbed what it looked like the best table and we could see the cook making salads with no gloves. The restaurant Manager or Owner i dont know was fighting with a drunk friend of him that was shouting how he felt the most important person on earth, our food was served on paper plates with plastic cutlery or course hideous and the beer was totally warm, i know this feels like i im just trying to make them look bad but REALLY all this happened and at the end of the night we left all the food and had dinner in a restaurant nearby.
