La Mexicana — Attraction in Bothell

I have been to this business on 2 occasions and both occasions resulted in poor customer service and a feeling of disrespect and discrimination. The latest incident occurred on Sunday, July 11, I initially contacted the business by phone to ask until what time I can send money via Money Gram. The individual I spoke with told me until 7:30 p.m. I raced over to the location and got there with plenty of time to get the money send. There was only one individual working and she was helping the only person in front of me, I waited my turn in line at this point it was 7:25p.m. I told her I was the one who called not long ago and wanted to send money via Money Gram. At which time the worker, who was Latino, tells me that she will check the other people waiting (also Latinos) first because it takes a while for her to process money gram stuff. I told her I had no objection to that but just wanted to make sure she will be able to send the money via Money Gram after 7: 30p.m. since she told me on the phone that they do not process Money Gram transfers after 7:30. She started telling me that the Money Gram is working slow and she doesn't want the others to wait...I again told her that is fine but asked if she will be able to send my money after 7:30p.m., she then said she needed to make a call, after her call, which was in Spanish, a Latino male walked in and came straight over to me even though I was standing mixed in with other patrons and asked me if I'm the one who wanted to send money via Money Gram, I said yes and he told me that he can't send the money. I said that is fine and asked for the manager's business card, to which he said he didn't have one. I walked out after this encounter. I felt extremely disrespected and made feel like I wasn't welcomed because I'm not Latino. The first encounter I had at this place, was with the same male who told me he couldn't send the money for me. He was extremely rude and did not offer any type of customer service in his interaction with me. A business like this should not be around, they are openly...

Pésimo servicio. Hoy 02/09/22 fui a comprar magnesio y la chica que estaba atendiendo me mando a donde estaba el jabón, le dije que era algo comestible que no creía que estuviera ahi, al igual fui a checar. Lego de que le dije que era algo comestible, me da la crema de mamisan. Y como mire que no sabia de lo que yo les estaba preguntando le pedi que si por favor le podia preguntar a los dueños, a lo que su respuesta fue no, Muy grosera. Desde el principio que llegas a la tienda y saluda y ella ni te responde. Traía unas orejeras que no la dejaban oír. Tenia que repetirle las cosas varias veces. Le pregunte por su nombre porqué la quería reportar con los dueños y se negó á darlo. Me parece que ese tipo de personas no debería estar atendiendo en un negocio. Terrible service. Today 09/02/22 I went to buy magnesium and the girl who was attending sent me to where the soap was, I told her it was something edible that I didn't think was there, I went to check. Since I told her it was something edible, she gives me the mamisan cream. And since I saw that she didn't know what I was asking them about, I asked her if she could please ask the owners, to which her answer was no, very rude. From the beginning you arrive at the store and say hello and she doesn't even answer you. She was wearing earmuffs that didn't let her hear. I had to repeat things to her several times. I asked her for her name because I wanted to report it to the owners and she refused to give it. Honestly, you shouldn't have a person like her...

This place is amazing! I got the asada quesadilla- not only was the chef out front super friendly- but this was so yummy! I ended up grabbing lots of baked pastries and snacks inside the shop, but I will be back over and over for the tacos/burritos/quesadillas they sell. I’m from AZ so I’m over the moon...
