I can safely say these are the best donuts I have ever had, which is saying something because I am from Texas. By far better than Voodoo donuts. The lady is so sweet and clearly cares about the donuts she makes. She told us they were fresh and we could VERY clearly tell. They were warm and had such a raw quality about them. The yeast donuts are so fluffy and soft, almost like a Hawaiian roll but better. You cannot even compare this place to other "artisan", "gourmet", or "specialty" donuts in the Pacific Northwest because their quality will never be this good, and besides they have very good variety and any donut you choose is GUARUNTEED to be amazing. Those other places charge a fortune for their styrofoam donuts anyway (but I would gladly chop off a hand to pay for these donuts) Back to the customer service, she handled a busy situation with rude customers very well and she is just such a nice person. I would go back there and ask her to be my mom if I could but then I...
Read moreI can't believe that I have been living in downtown Bothell for 10 years and today is the first time I tried their donut!!!! Yummy yummy fresh donuts! To me they tasted like Krispy Kreme but so much better. I love Krispy Kreme original glazed donuts, but this is better! Highly recommended!
Also the owner is super nice. The reason we stumbled upon this place is that my husband took my daughter to the dance class and he forgot to bring snacks so they stopped by to get a donut without knowing they only take cash. The owner told my husband not to worry about it, pay next time ❤️ My husband came back the next day with cash, and bought two dozens 😆 We brought the donuts to my daughter's dance recital today, other parents & kids enjoyed them so much and were asking us where we got the donuts! They are too delicious. Love it. I had...
Read moreCountryside Donut House makes classic donuts that will remind you of your childhood. Such an amazing throwback from the very first bite! Family owned and operated since 1996, this trusty standby is not to be missed! The plumb Bear Claw with almond paste was just as I remembered it. The Old Fashioned Buttermilk Bar was perfectly crispy on the outside and pillowy on the inside with the hint of coconut you’ll remember. And how could you say no to a Chocolate Cake donut with chocolate frosting and chopped peanuts? Just delicious! If you’re less fancy, grab a plain cake and dunk it in your coffee. That’s what I did! The owner is very sweet and happy to chat as time allows. Sunday morning at 8:00am was busy! Cash or check only, so plan ahead. Susan...
