I have very conflicted feelings about this place.

I worked her back in 2013. Fortunately when I went in to quit, the owner admitted that he was going to fire me for allegedly stealing money, when in reality, it was because he was too cheap to update his registers. We would have to use 2 different systems, one for the actual orders/cash, and one for the debit cards. If numbers were off, he would just assume that you were stealing and fire you with out actually looking into the issue. That same night he accused me of stealing, I was forced by the shift lead to be on a register with another guy which was against the owners rules, yet some how I'm still the one who got in trouble for it. Ironically 3 years later I'd work for Loomis Armored for 3 years doing the federal Reserve route. Absolutely love having my character questioned.

The owner is a cheapskate that only cares about profit. His father (the original owner) was an amazing man, and the owners kids are amazing too. But his attitude was always disrespectful. The sooner they take over the better. (It's 2025 and they still don't even have a proper website.) I would consistent get yelled at for cleaning the tables too often, cause apparently it's better to just start there and do nothing. I can go on about a few more things, but I'll leave it at that.

On the flip side. He did give me my big break. He hired me after 2 years of not being able to find a place that would give my my first job. I loved making drinks and ice cream cones. The burgers are truly amazing. I thinks it's kinda crappy to make your staff still pay half price for the food they order on shift. Most restaurants give you a meal for free. But yet he would bring his friends over and give them food for free. But he did give us drinks for free.

Another thing that pisses me off was there was some times when a foot ball game would get out right around our closing time and a long line would form and we were forced to turn people away right at our closing time. I personally think that's unethical. If you have people wanting to buy your food. People willing to pay for product, you serve them until the...

First of all I’ll start by saying that I 100% realize that this is not an ideal restaurant for someone to eat at that’s plant based. However they have a veggie burger in the menu but it’s vegetarian and not vegan. I kindly asked if I could simply order a regular burger without the meat so it would be just a bun with veggies. The nice cashier asked his manager and then came back and said they could totally do that BUT I would have to order the Ranch Burger and couldn’t order just a “regular” burger. Now the Ranch burger is made with 1/4 lb of beef and I’m not eating the beef so it seemed a bit strange that they would make an exception like this but only in a way that benefited them. So whatever, I order the Ranch burger ask for no meat, no cheese, so dressing.... so at this point it’s a bun with lettuce, pickle, tomato and ketchup. I ask if I can order sautéed onions and mushrooms on it. Nice cashier Nick says “sure no problem”. I pay for my food and my friends food and we are good to go. Then before we leave the counter this girl runs up to Nick and whispers something I can’t hear. All of a sudden Nick turns to me and says “I’m sorry but my manager said I now have to charge you for a mushroom burger instead since you want mushrooms”. So now the mushroom burger is $2 MORE than the Ranch burger because not only are there mushrooms but it comes with Swiss cheese..... which I’m not eating!

Listen I get it, I have a complicated order. But to take my order and then have a “manager” say I have to now be charged MORE after all is said and done when I’m literally eating a bun, with lettuce, tomato, pickles, onion, mushroom, and ketchup is absurd and AWFUL customer service.

Lastly I’ll close by saying the very next day I took my son to Burger Master on Bothell Everett Hwy, I asked the same questions, ordered the SAME exact burger and was charged $1.65!!!!! Now, would I have been willing to pay more? Absolutely! However it was SO refreshing to be treated kindly and not like I was a burden because I have dairy allergies and I...

Classic burger/fries/shake place. PROS: Great ambience and you can walk up to the window from the sidewalk and eat your food at the tables outside. The burgers are tasty and there’s a good variety. Onion rings and shakes are really good. CONS: I was disappointed that the cheese used on the grilled cheese sandwich and the burgers is American processed cheese and not cheddar cheese. It greatly affects the flavor which is sad because everything else on the burgers is good. My kids wouldn’t even eat the grilled cheese sandwich because the cheese tasted weird which is a first for them to complain about the taste of a grilled cheese sandwich...the burgers aren’t cheap and should have “real” cheese imo. The crinkle fries aren’t awesome and condiments for dipping cost extra which is kind of a bummer. I got a side of “burger sauce” to dip my fries and onion rings in and it was alright but it didn’t have ketchup in it-just mayo and relish. Also, don’t plan on stopping here to get a quick bite. I have waited 15-20 minutes for my food every time I’ve gone.

Definitely stop by here and get a shake and onion rings if you’re in the area. Caramel marshmallow is a favorite. Just know it’s not going to be...

A nice little place in Bothell situated in a beautiful (but busy) area. The cashier was friendly and patient. The inside is the same as thousands of other drive-in style places strewn across the vast spaces of America. Now I got a Ranch Burger (added cheese) and a Crispy Chicken Sandwich. Am I impressed? I guess not really, but don’t get me wrong, it was good. The Ranch Burger was decent, but I wasn’t into the bun. I’m not sure what it was; maybe it wasn’t toasted or it was just airy. The chicken sandwich was the highlight, that being said, it’s a McChicken. It’s a bigger version with a tomato. I loved it. I’ll come back here if I’m in the area again sometime.

A visit to the Ranch Drive-In is like taking a step back in time. A true small town "drive-in", no drive-thru window, just get out of the car to order from the walk-up window or step inside. The menu is simple, mostly burgers, fries, soft drinks, milkshakes, and ice cream cones. Even a true traditional grilled cheese sandwich. I was hungry, and I went for the double ranch burger. Perfectly prepared patties and topped with the basics, plus cheese. It's just a satisfying combo. We loved the thick, crinkle cut fries! This place stayed true to its roots, keeping with a focused menu and doing the food and the dining experience well.

We were really excited to try this spot after seeing how busy it was and reading so many positive reviews. The staff were nice, and the vibe of the place was great—fun location and a nice setup. Unfortunately, the food we ordered came out quite overcooked. The onion rings, fries, bacon, and even the burger patties all had a burnt flavor that was hard to overlook. It was a bit of a letdown, especially given how much we were looking forward to it. That said, the hospitality and atmosphere still left a good impression, and we’re open to giving it another shot—hopefully just a one-off kitchen hiccup.
