Although this park's playground appears pretty small, it makes up for it by doing one thing incredibly well: the caves and tunnels are a blast! Very novel and well executed series of tunnels that communicate within the stone structure. Many places to crawl into and move throughout the structure, allowing you to poke your head out one of the many openings. Multiple levels to ascend or descend to, and a few very dark tunnels to make you a little nervous while still being safe. The green space is nice, and there are picnic tables and boulders to sit on. The other structures are ok, with a toddler age slide, a tire swing, and a merry go round style fixture that's supposed to spin, but doesn't spin very easily (seems like it needs some maintenance). There's a small playground fixture for the really little ones that is pretty simple. We'll definitely be back to crawl through the tunnels again! Thank you for having such a great little spot to escape to!

All ages park with a large stone cave/concrete structure with tunnels and caves.    7 total structures on a rubberized surface with natural rocks to sit on throughout.  One structure is in a large sand box.  3 swings/ 2 infant & 1 group.  1 small slide.  No shade except in rock caves or under picnic shelter. Large open lawn.

Nice open, yet secluded park. It isn't a huge play area, but my 4 year old had a blast - especially with the big multi-direction swing. The climbing rock / tunnel area is cool, but definitely not for the faint at heart mom. Lots of space for picnics, and baby swings / sand pit for smaller children.

The rock park has a nice shelter with shade and picnic tables. We enjoy taking a snack or lunch and eat under the shady shelter. The big attraction is the rock structure that has tunnels and holes that drop you down another level for the kids. This is not a structure for toddlers. I would say children 3 + years old would probably do best. My kids take flashlights and enjoy the discovery of each twist and turn. They also enjoy climbing on the exterior. Parents supervision is definitely necessary. They have a few other pieces of equipment that the children will play on, such as a teeter totter. A baby swing set a playhouse, a merry-go-round with a climbing gym on it and a big round swing that can go in circles or back and forth. It's a wonderful park for children to exercise their...

The Og’s know this place isn’t Arapahoe ridge park. It’s rock park. It has an ancient rock structure full of little tunnels that will make an adult feel extremely claustrophobic.

But your kids might love it or they might get scared and cry extremely loud until you need to descend into the tunnels and rescue them while hoping you don’t get stuck in the tunnels.

You may also get really lucky and encounter a variety of transplant families from the Bay Area who will try to seem down to earth but in reality are casting extreme judgements on the families who didn’t earn oodles of cash working for non profitable VC funded tech startups.

Nevertheless would...
