Part 5 Hair " Life after death " The scorpion 🦂 king 👑 traveled back to the land of Bountiful were he found his crew playing and cooling off from the hot summer sun and enjoying the South Davis recreation center water slide and splash pad and Jacuzzi oh said the captain is anyone watching the ship ⚓🚢 the boatman's mate yelled out don't worry captain Gunner's mate 1st class is in charge Sir and has assigned three others at watch positions on ship. How was your journey Sir asked the boatman's mate. The Scorpion 🦂 king 👑 replied fabulous met the most beautiful lady Angel in the mountains 🥰 now I'm tired please see nobody disturbs me please I'm going back aboard ship to my quarters to rest. On the way the bear 🐻 met the captain and the captain welcomed the bear to come rest with him. The bear accepted and followed him into his room. Once in the room captain knelt down asked the bear to pray 🙏 with him and after prayer captain began reading the book of Mormon to the 🐻. After awhile the bear replied if there's life 💗 after death for humans is there life after death for me as well and other animals. We as animals have feelings to and love heavenly Father ❤️ too. So the Scorpion 🦂 king 👑 put on his magic mirror 🪞 earrings and asked the bear let's pray 🙏 to heavenly Father and find out together. So they began to pray and after a couple minutes heavenly Father came down to them and said let me show you the miracle of eternal life 💗. So the bear and the scorpion 🦂 king 👑 and heavenly Father held hands together and were lifted up to the Stars and heavens above and where greeted by the angels as they arrived. The bear replied so where are the animals that passed away. Heavenly Father pointed to a special gate and the gate opened there on this level a beautiful angel with long blonde hair wearing a green silk dress absolutely gorgeous and the light shined so bright as if the sun was all around her and in her arms was a Yorkie black puppy and several other dogs and cats and bears and lions and elephants and all kinds of animals of every kind playing in the clouds all around. Heavenly Father replied to the bear and Scorpion 🦂 king 👑 would you like to enter and play with the animals . Oh yes said the bear 🐻 I would like to see if my mom is amongst the other animals. After awhile out of the clouds the bear's mom came and united once more ❤️ and the bear hugged his mom once more. Then heavenly Father showed the bear 🐻 the different levels of heaven as well and the bear was so excited that he had learned that animals can have eternal life as well and that he wasn't just a food source and forgotten. The 🐻 gave heavenly Father a big bear hug and the Scorpion 🦂 king 👑 as well and the beautiful angel in the green silk dress as well and all the angels began to dance 🩰 all around them so happy together and animals played and were held as well from the other angels and petted. Heavenly Father said it's time to go back now remember me always 💗 and pray and read your Scriptures and love your fellow man and animals too said the 🐻 right 👍. And heavenly Father replied yes and you as well my special 🐻. Suddenly they found themselves back into the captains room once more and the bear 🐻 was so overwhelmed with the spiritual blessing he had just witnessed he went and layed by the captain and fell asleep the captain rubbed the bear's belly and the bear snored off into a happy Dreamland sleep and the captain as well ❤️. Read morePros: I love this place! It is the best! I come here Monday through Friday. I am on the Tsunami swim team, and the coaches are the BEST! They are always trying to push us and make us faster, efficient, and proud. The coaches are a little strict, but in the end it was worth it. They have had some recent changes starting with covid that was confusing, but it is under control now.
I also took a junior lifeguarding class, and it was effective teaching me on how to be a lifeguard. I also got into the water and paired up with a classmate to practice the different types of entries, saves, etc. Our teacher (Erin) was nice and kept it fun and interesting. If your teen does the Jr. class plus some volunteering hours, you can get into the normal class, for a generous discount. Ages 12-14; normal class age is 15 and up.
When I do open plunge with friends, the lifeguards are doing a good job. Some people say that they are kind of rude, but I (mostly) disagree. All three pools are fun for any age (the outdoor one is for the little kids in my opinion, but others may disagree).
Recommended Changes:
• A few years ago, I went to open plunge. When I got there, the Leisure pool playground was blocked off with cones. The rest of the pool was jammed packed. It was hardly enjoyable. In short, put a people limit per pool. • In the lap pool, the tiles that form the pool’s edge need replacing. They are chipped, faded, and broken. I have cut myself on them way too many times to count. • The lap pool plus areas on the walls are slippery and are also in need of replacement. There is at least one light that is out. I don’t know how they always need replacing despite being LEDs. • The chemical levels in the pools are really high. According to the guards, one of the top things that they treat (alongside bloody noses, cuts, scrapes) is chemical burns. Whoever does the chemicals clearly need to be replaced. Also, wear goggles so the water doesn’t get in your eyes! • The bottom of the pools have lots of spots and stains. • The locker room showers need a good renovating • There are a lot of people that disobey the rules and enter through the do not enter doors. • There are some parents that leave their kids unattended and they run amok and cause trouble
Final Notes:
The SDRC is getting renovated and a new facility is going to be built. In light of that, I might hold off on the membership because some areas will be closed off for some time. The lifeguards might not be very nice because they are stressed, tired, and they deal with troublemakers around the clock. They are giving their all to make sure you have a good time. Be patient and kind with them. Make sure to thank them too. And don’t be a...
Read moreThey are DISHONEST and poorly managed!
I’m only giving it a 1 star because Eli is the only employee that isn’t a complete idiot.
I wanted to schedule a large banquet for approximately 80 people. I wasn’t able to book it over the phone due to their policy and I had to go to their facility in person to book the event. In the 10 minutes it took to drive there someone else booked the day and time I needed.(I was told over the phone that it was wide open.) Not a big deal, We rescheduled our event to another day. I paid my dues and life was good, so I thought.( Fast forward a month later) I called the day before the event to make sure they had enough chairs to accommodate possibly a few more people and during that conversation I found out they booked us for the wrong room(same price). I couldn’t fix this over the phone because they needed me to fill out paperwork and PAY in person. I was in a complete panic. I had 85 people showing up in less than 24 hours for a banquet in a room that only holds 30 people! Luckily, Eli was there to greet me and he was so helpful and made me feel 100 times better. The 2 females I spoke to on the phone were complete idiots and were not willing to listen or attempt to fix THEIR mistake. Eli was able to switch around rooms to accommodate my guests. I had to pay an additional $70 with a $200 food deposit that I “will get back as long as the room is in the same shape.” Our banquet was a success and I was quite pleased. Today, I looked at my bank transactions and the South Davis Rec Center took out the $200 deposit. We left that room spotless! I called the Rec center asking why they charged me for the deposit. Guess what they said? “You have to fill out paperwork to get your deposit back.” I will have to come back in and fill out the paper work to get my $200 DEPOSIT back. They “Forgot” to have me fill out the paperwork when I was there... in person and told by Eli that I would get it back. Why wouldn’t I want my deposit back? This place is a complete joke and I WILL NEVER SPEND ANOTHER PENNY AT THIS POORLY MANAGED FACILITY. I’m so disappointed in this place. Don’t waste your money, you won’t ever see it again. Poorly managed. Rude employees with terrible customer service. OH! And their pool made our kiddos skin burn and itch like crazy. We will not be returning. Poorly managed. Rude employees with terrible customer service, not to mention they are crooks. Don’t be surprised if the BBB starts an...
