Canal Crossways — Attraction in Bourne

This is a beautiful path for walking, biking, rollerblading, etc. I walked from the Railroad Bridge to the Bourne Bridge & back, which was 2.5 miles round trip. The scenery is beautiful, especially at sunset. There were plenty of little surprises along the way to explore (playground, picnic areas, camping grounds). I enjoyed looking at the houses on the canal’s coast & the boats sailing by....

Love it here! Great pathways to the canal, nice short hike, perfect for ditching the stroller and letting the little ones run the trails. The Bourne Inclusive Playground is wonderful for kidlets of all ages and ability levels. Kindness matters. I went to the canal crossway playground with my grandchild. We’re having so much fun, I forgot my purse! I didn’t even know it. The nicest lady drove a half hour to Sandwich to drop it off with her two sons. She would take no money. Sure wish we had a place like this in Sandwich. It’s amazing...
