We were down from Montreal this summer and were told about Mezza Luna by a colleague. It is an absolute must when in the area, and if you’re not in the area, definitely worth the drive! This family run restaurant was by far our favourite part of our trip to Cape Cod. Everything from the feel when you pull up to the restaurant, to the decor, to the absolutely perfect service, to the amazing food, was perfection! We were a group of 9 including 3 young children (a10 year old, 7 year old, and 3 year old), and although they kept it together throughout the evening, our waiter, Matthew was an amazing host as he joked with the kids and made us feel like we’re at home. Can’t say enough about Matthew! As for the food, I don’t remember everything everyone had. The kids of course had pasta to keep it simple. My nephew and I both had the Baked Seafood Delight, which was absolutely amazing, and my sister in law could not stop talking about her dish, the Linguine Valencia Frutti di Mare, which she couldn’t finish but really wanted to. My wife and mother in law also found the veal parmigiana to be absolutely fantastic! Portions were quite large and filling, and we did have to take some of it back with us.

Thank you to our waiter Matthew and to the Cubellis family for having us dine in their restaurant and really looking forward to our next dinner...

This restaurant came highly recommended to us. We were on our last day of vacation in the area and it was my husband's birthday so we decided to try it. It is a very busy restaurant and reservations are preferred. We were so lucky that we were able to be seated without having a reservation. The person that sat us told us that we were going to have the best meal we've ever had, and she was right.

I got Chicken Piccata and I could not believe the portions! It was so delish. I could not stop eating. My husband got baked lasagna with a side of meatball. He said it was the best he's had. In fact, he enjoyed this restaurant over the North End restaurants we visited at the beginning of our vacation. My oldest daughter got chicken and broccoli, again huge portions! And my youngest got a giant hotdog off the kid's menu.

The chicken and vegetable soup was so delicious as was the fried mozzarella. We were stuffed!! My oldest daughter lives in the area, so she was the lucky one that got to take home all the extra food.

The atmosphere and the excellent service rounded out this amazing dining experience. I will be dreaming of this outstanding restaurant all the way...

I drove from Ri to vist one of my beloved spots growing up. Host was rude. She made myself and my family feel like we did not belong. I've been going to this restaurant my entrie life and have never experienced what I did yesterday. The people before us also didn't have a reservation. They were immediately sat. My family of four didn't have one and we were asked if we had a reservation. We didn't so I said no, she after that didn't say anything or give us a time on wait. We awkwardly stood in the lobby for about 10 mins waiting for any acknowledgement or direction. We sat in the lobby so long I ended up asking, is there a wait? She rudely said. "Few minutes". Another couple came in, didn't have a reservation and was immediately sat. When we left she didn't say goodbye, nothing.

The waiter we had was the best, per usual. He's been our waiter over the years and always goes above and beyond. I honestly can not say enough wonderful things about him, other then what ever your paying him isnt enough. Food was excellent per usual. I'm only rating this so high due to just how much I enjoy the food...

This is such an awesome family owned restaurant with delicious, homemade pasta at reasonable prices - great value for the money. We went for lunch and we got several thick, warm slices of fresh, soft Italian bread and butter. Your entree can come with a generous salad or Minestrone soup or the Chicken soup. I upgraded to the clam chowder and it was just perfect with chunks of potatoes, plenty of clams and good flavor. Our favorite is the home-made ravioli in cheese or spinach flavors. My husband loves the meat sauce and thinks it is one of the best ever. I had the eggplant parmesan twice, and I think THAT is the best eggplant parmesan I have ever had. Thin slices of soft eggplant that melt in your mouth with the cheese. I got it with the ravioli (upcharge) instead of the pasta. I was able to take half home with me for a delicious dinner another night. The decor and music are nostalgic with songs playing from the Frank Sinatra era. Wednesday night is Prime Rib night. We have not gone for that but we came earlier when they were still roasting the meat for several hours.
