The local skaters are very kind and dedicated to learning. There's a couple groups of highschooler that hang out but they were never in the way. They were just enjoying the culture.
Only reason I didn't give the park a 5 is because of the street section. It's very disproportioned. There's really no run for the boxes or roll away space. The kinked rail is nice but the bank leading into it is so steep that alot of speed is needed to do it. The curved box has a slight inclined base making it uncomfortable to get on the box. To slow and you won't make it, to fast and you'll either hit the box popping or won't have the right leverage to pop.
All in all though the park is just a comfortable place for advanced...

My brother and I were both at this park today, and there were only 2 other skateboarders there, without helmets.
The "Rent a cop" Park ranger asked us both to leave, while allowing the skateboarders (WITHOUT HELMETS) to stay.
Apparently the reason for this scooter ban is too many very young kids, who should not even be riding in a park, would crash into other skateboarders. This is a issue with little kids, not the fact that they are on scooters.
