Bowie Dog Park — Attraction in Bowie

Do not bring your dog to this dog park. On July 30th, 2022 around 1pm, my mini poodle was walking in the dog park and this big black rock Rottweiler dog attacks her. The dogs owners stood their and saw the dog grab her throw her in the air. I asked the people why did you do this and they begin to yell at me telling me to not let my dog walk in the dog park. The perpetrators dog attempted to attack my dog again and then I was able to grab my dog and get her to the emergency room. The people that I referred to that let there dog attack my dog was a light skinned heavy set black male, who wore a white tank top and black/gray shorts. The dog park is nice. There's a side for small dogs as well as for the larger ones. The owner's I've met are all nice people and love their fur babies! The only problem is the people that come with vicious or not so sociable animals, let them run loose, and do not pay attention to the sign that actually says...No Agressive Dogs Allowed. I really wish they would read or the park would be patrol more often. Other than that, it's a wonderful park. Also, the pictures that show horses and a child sitting in a swing is not Bowie Dog Park.
