When it came to decorating our dream home, I knew nothing. However, I did know the most beautiful and magical store in all of Bowling Green…Barbara Stewart Interiors.

Since a child I had frequented the store with my grandma, and I couldn’t help but admire the vibrant and eye catching window displays. Upon stepping inside I was transported to a nice home down south, where color and design were met with timeless taste that wasn’t afraid to stand out.

And that’s exactly why I chose, Susan, of Barbara Stewart’s, as a decorator. She, like I, treasures classic pieces and styles that will stand the test of time, and who isn’t afraid to mix in the whimsical and wonderful.

In fact, she came to me with an inspiration that I didn’t even know existed. Her attention to your desires and color palette are second nature, and due to her creativity, knowledge, and most importantly, listening skills, allow her to create something for JUST you and your home.

Recently, our builder commented that this has been the quickest build and he wished all homes went this well. I asked to what he attributed that…and his response was that most people don’t know what they want.

My response was easy; I had Susan. She eliminated the overwhelming basic decisions, and gave life to the ones I didn’t even know were know needed. She understood my tastes, my dreams, and made them come to life.

In my opinion…everyone needs a Susan ❤️ I literally couldn’t have gotten through this...

So thankful to have a store like this in BG! They offer such a great selection of both timeless and classic things as well as transitional accents. I love being able to mix “old” and “new” and they are the go- to place to help you with that. Great store to find a gift for anyone on your list as well as have your own wish list! Love their staff! They are so helpful with sharing ideas on interior design as well as helping you pick out a gift! From the minute you walk in the door; they just make it easy! I recently had a large, heavy mirror that I broke and not only were they able to fix it, but they delivered it back to me and rehung it with a super quick turn-around time and great price! I also love that they will let you take things home and try it out in your space! Will continue to shop here for many years to...

I visited your store on Saturday and found a picture I really liked. I told my husband about it and he came down and purchased it for me for Christmas, yesterday. The customer service he received was terrible, he loves to joke and enjoys talking to people and your staff was so short and rude to him that he only purchased the picture because he knew I had really liked it. He said he would never come back to your store again. On Saturday, they told me I could bring the picture home to see if it would work where I wanted it, they never even offered that to him. I’ve always heard about how nice your store was, but unfortunately I’ll not be back and will let others know about the type of service you give...
