Worst “bar” experience of my entire life. We were in town for a friends wedding that was right across the street. After it ended, everyone was looking for somewhere to watch the Kentucky game. Might I point out, it was the SWEET 16 GAME IN THE NCAA TOURNAMENT. I’ll also point out we had similar service at the other bar up the street so I shouldn’t be surpised. We walk in and no one is playing the volume (which was okay with us, we just sat down and ordered drinks to watch). After we of course started clapping and cheering when Kentucky made a basket (as this was a very close game and it’s what normal people who watch a basketball game do), one of the bar tenders turned the music up to where it was BLARING. So loud and obnoxious that anyone would get a migraine. It was made evident to us right away that we were not welcome. There was less than 1 minute remaining in the game or we would have ALL left. I say all to point out that there were around 20 of us just trying to find a TV and watch the end of the game. If we could have made it back to our hotels in time to catch the end, I would have done it in a heartbeat looking back. As the game proceeded on, the female bartender would make snide remarks or make fun of us and roll her eyes when we clapped and cheered. When someone from our crowd yelled a cuss word in the middle of the game, she immediately used that as an opportunity to tell us we needed to keep it down and not use that language. Funny part about this is the disrespect and rudeness started LONG beforehand. We were also asked for ID’s at the door so this was clearly not a place where children were around. AND there was vulgar music playing in the background the whole time that they chose to blast. Also, when the Duke fans start cussing and yelling at their game, that is acceptable too apparently. You can try to twist this story any way you want to. All it came down to was the female bartender hating our presence from the moment we walked in. Thank you to the male bartender who acknowledged what was going on and tried to make ammends with us. However, we will NEVER be returning to this bar ever again and if any Kentucky fan ever wants to have a drink or watch a game at this bar, I suggest you go elsewhere because you will...

Read moreI have been to this bar a few times previously and it has been amazing but tonight was unacceptable. I went to this bar with my boyfriend at around 6 pm and everything was going great even had a great conversation with a couple next to us and we were having a blast. we were ordering drinks and the bartender kept asking if he wanted drink and he said yes when he was finished with his current drink and after about 2 hours the bartender came up to my boyfriend and said to slow down because he was “drinking too much” (he only had 6 small drinks) and legally wasn’t allowed to serve him anymore alcohol. absolutely unacceptable. never going to that bar again. He did nothing wrong and he was treated very disrespectfully. We were just trying to have a good night after a stressful week and they ruined it. truly...
